    Thanks man. Worked for me as well. Not sure about the security implications but haven't found an alternative and doing a reinstall is not an option for me. Anyways, thanks again.

    I actually installed a fresh copy of unRaid and it started working just fine. I think I messed something up during the initial config and I couldn't figure out what. Either way I ended up adding it to the domain the way you mentioned in your post without any issues the second time around and it's been working great since then... Thanks Again!

    HI, I am trying to set up a new unRAID server but I am getting Access Denied even though my share is public. I have two users, root and a genetic I crated. The server has SMB enables (Workgroup option) but all the client's PC(Windows 7) are on a company domain. Could this be the reason why I am getting Access Denied on every PC? Do all clients need to be on the same domain? or is there another underlying reason why I can't access my public share? Thanks in advance, I'm really new to this.
