  1. cool, thanks for the heads up. I will keep messing with it, and keep an eye here just in case someone else might have solved this problem.
  2. latest reply: Please be advised that running Access Server in docker is not supported. You may run int at your own risk. And yes, each time your container restarted your license key will fail. Re-adding the key will not help. I guess it is not going to work. Before I ran it on my pfsense setup I thought I had it running flawless on Unraid a couple years ago. Who knows maybe I am just doing something wrong.
  3. I am having an issue where when I restart or update it reverts my license back to only two users at a time, and I am setup for 10 users. When I try and re add the license key I get this result but only remains at two users. License Key Activated License Manager This page shows licenses activated for your Access Server, and allows you to add new licenses. Installed License Keys The license keys that are activated for this Access Server installation are shown below. License Key Type Concurrent Users Expire (none) Concurrent User Limit: Licensed for 2 concurrent users. When I issue a ticket with openvpn.net they issue me a new license key and it works, until the next time I restart or update.
  4. I have been running a supermicro 5028D-TN4T with 4 WD red 8tb drives. https://www.supermicro.com/products/system/midtower/5028/sys-5028d-tn4t.cfm and everything has been running perfect except my hard drives are showing hot a lot. So I have decided to open things up a little and give me the ability to upgrade in the future with ordering a larger enclosure "RSV-L4000" hopefully with better cooling. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056OUTBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have already installed 2 of the "Hot-swap SATAIII/SAS Hard Disk Drive Cages" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGZ42SM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in the case and went smooth enough. Now onto my question, this was my first Unraid setup and only been running it like a month. Any tips on problems to avoid during all this, do I need to make sure all the hard drives stay hooked to the same sata slots in the motherboard? just the parity drive? Will not using the backplate in the supermirco setup throw up any problems? Gonna try and tackle it this weekend and already have wife aggro so trying to get a smooth first pass transfer lol. Thanks for any help.
  5. My second post was not 100% accurate, I tried to open a port to another windows 10 computer (not VM) on my network and running into the same problem so my problem is not within the Unraid setup at all. I have opened ports for plex running on unraid in this network, and for apps so I can control sonnar, radarr, and nzbget remotely. So it is something I am doing wrong when I am opening ports specifically for Windows 10.
  6. I forgot to add that my vm's network is set to Private profile, and I disabled my windows firewall within my vm just in case that was blocking it, and I can open that same port when I put in the ip address of my unraid machine, or another computer in my network, just not the VM's ip. Hope I am explaining this all correctly, let me know if you need more info.
  7. I'm on Windows 10 and made a Windows 10 VM and everything was easy to setup followed the videos. I can connect through remote desktop connection locally. Used the br0 network bridge, and my system setup an IP address just like it was another computer on the network. I have ports opened to actual devices on my network and they work great, but every time I try to open a port towards the VM's IP the port will not open. I check with canyouseeme.org and I try from a remote computer and it is a no go. I have also tried another router to see if my router was the problem. I am currently using a R9000 and I tested it against a R7000. Thanks for any info you can toss at me, and if I need to provide more info let me know, I am new to unraid, but got all my plex, sonarr, radarr, and nzbget setup flawlessly thanks to this forum.
