Solutions

  1. Dismes's post in After changing usb due to corruption, I can't connect to my SMB shares was marked as the answer   
    So I created a back up of the current usb and i reinstalled unraid on it, setup alot of the setting once again and i was able to connect the old way using \\tower\rootshare.
     
    So i am guessing something bonked a setting when my usb got corrupted
