Honestly, I kept having issues with the second port obtaining an IP. I am a complete novice at this. I have read multiple articles and for the life of me. I can't seem to set it up right. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

my current setup

I have a dual 10Gbe nic. I do have one of the interfaces port downed. I couldnt figure out how to get that all setup correctly.

No everything is fine on unraid server. The only weird activity I saw on my new work was my windows pc. Static IP got changed to an out of network IP. And what cought my eye was that out of network IP showed up in unraid logs. However unraid kept going. My PC required a switch reboot. I just want to make sure everything is running smoothly. If it's something in the switch, I will fix it. The extra ips in the logs bother me. My network only runs on 192.168.1. ip address. I did have the unifi controller running on unraid at one point and it was on a sub network 172. I believe. Now all that's ran off the cloud key. Also, I completely reset my unraid network via deleting network config. I wanted to start fresh. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

I upgraded to an all unifi setup.Unifi security gateway pro Unifi 24 port switch 250w Poe Cloud key gen 2 plus. Sadly, I am not at home right now so I can't upload diagnostics. When I get home in 10 hours I will upload it. Thank you for your reply. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Figures, Its always something with these companies. Sadly, you are right! I may switch to linux in the future if this keeps up.

Thanks again, I will double check WORKGROUP all caps on all systems. And hope this doesn't break again. I am really beginning to dislike Windows.

It started Working.. I have to use IP now \\tower wont work anymore. Is their a way to fix this?

I installed local master, server is the master. Still no connection to smb. Also I saw that Nitsuj fixed his by changin DHCP to yes. I just got new unifi gateway and 24 port poe switch. I reset my network config in unraid to start fresh, and now I can't reconnect using samba share. I was trying to setup link aggregation and somewhere I broke things. I can still connect to the GUI, Winscp still works, network speed through winscp is around 20Mbs. Plex Docker still works and Nvidia shields still have access. Any help would be greatly appreciated OS, Windows 10. tower-diagnostics-20190708-1843.zip

Went searching through the logs and found this.
