6.9.2 > 6.10.3 Array offline and all drives unassigned
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
OK I can see that after rolling back my cache pool drives are unassigned, how do I add these back in safely? Can't see anything on the main page -
What the title says - just upgraded and my array is missing all drives. When I select the correct serials from the drop down it says 'wrong' and array won't start because of this. diagnostics attached. What happened? Rolled back and the array is online but the docker service won't start. The error is "path does not exist" for Docker vdisk location and appdata storage. Thanks in advance! 6-9-2 no docker-myserver-diagnostics-20220915-0744.zip 6-10-3 no array-myserver-diagnostics-20220915-0737.zip

Having a problem starting my VM, with an execution error pop-up saying: internal error - did not find USB device 1058:25e2 Well I have removed the secondary vDisk location that referenced the previous USB device I had connected, so I don't understand why it's looking for any USB drive? This has never been a problem in 5 years of running the VM and attaching different USB drives this way. Any help will be gratefully received! (reboot didn't fix)

Been running DelugeVPN on my unraid server for 4 years without issue, and today downloads have started saving to and filling up the docker image. I had to delete the docker image and re-install apps, but no matter what I do, new downloads will not save to the specified download folder and continue to fill up the docker image. I haven't changed anything and cannot figure out how to correct this - any clues?

CPU Spike and unresponsive Docker Containers
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
In case it helps anyone else, it's likely that the mover was still running when I had these issues (I had ~500GB of data moved) After changing the mover time from 03:40 to 02:00 I've not noticed the slowdown. I'm not sure where to look in the diagnostics to confirm this -
For the last three days my system feels like it's locking up at the same time each morning - docker page refuses to load, Krusader hangs, CPU spike to 36% but no apparent tasks running. I can't do anything with my files. I can't even reboot from the main page without forcing a manual shut down. Diagnostics posted, any clues? myserver-diagnostics-20201015-0659.zip

phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support

6.7.2 - Windows VM USB Passthrough disk/by-id not working
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
yes that fixed the issue with the partition not showing - thanks any other ideas about the disk/by-id issue? -
6.7.2 - Windows VM USB Passthrough disk/by-id not working
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
still no luck adding with /dev/disk/by-id/, but mounted or unmounted I can add it to VM using /dev/sdp or /dev/sdp1 but Windows 10 will not show the partition I created the last time it was attached, even unRaid sees the partition 'DB' Windows just shows 'disk1' -

i've also tried different USB drives, can't get any to work with /dev/disk/by-id/ -
6.7.2 - Windows VM USB Passthrough disk/by-id not working
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
yeah, I can enable passthrough by adding /dev/sdX - this had been my workaround but recently Windows stopped recognising the partition when the drive was re-attached (even after updating /dev/sdX in the 2nd vdisk settings) and it required formatting in diskmgmt every time it was connected -
yep, that describes my issue exactly. Reboot didn't fix

I too am getting a blank screen after re-installing Disk Location. It was working right before I decided to remove and re-install. The plugin is now missing from Settings though visible under Plugins, but it doesn't look right I'm running 6.7.0

hey guys so i decided to upgrade my hardware after running into an issue with my previous NAS setup. I can boot into unRaid just fine and my cache pool looks good, however all my array drives and parity drive are showing as 'missing' even though they are not missing, and when I try to assign the correct serial number it says 'wrong' Really hoping there's a simple fix for this! I've attached diagnostics from old and new hardware plus screenshot of error

hi guys I'm having trouble with a disabled drive, which I have replaced and attempted to rebuild however the process completed too quickly and remains disabled. I have again unassigned the drive and rebooted but now there is no option to rebuild the array - only to start the array. There is also now a call traces warning. Do I have a bad array card? myserver-diagnostics-20180604-1725.zip

rebuilt disk disabled after replacing failed disk
phneutral replied to phneutral's topic in General Support
Thank you. Drive reseated and rebuild running into 2nd hour now. What seemed odd is that the drive was assigned before the first rebuild attempt... It then showed 'disabled' rather than offline leading me to think unRaid had disabled it but I couldn't figure out why... -

Howdy folks I've just had a pending sector count error on one of my drives. I replaced it and started the array and it appeared to be rebuilding just fine. It finished after a few minutes which seemed too quick for 2.84TB, but now the brand new disk is disabled and I have error warnings... The disk settings page hangs and won't show any SMART data. Is the new drive DOA? Can I just put a new one in and start the rebuild again? Logs attached ErrorWarningSystemArrayLogin.pdf
