  1. Hi all I was trying to make an NFS shares on my unRaid box. It 's pretty straight forward according to this https://unraid.net/blog/deploying-an-unraid-nfs-server Pretty much all I have to do is enable NFS service in settings, create a share and leave it public in Security settings I then proceed to install windows NFS services on Windows 11 then I tried to mount it with this command mount -o anon \\192.168.88.99\isos Z: but it return with this error: net helpmsg 53 means: "netowork path was not found" I have no problem accessing thru SAMBA if I type \\192.168.88.99\isos in explorer running out of ideas
  2. Hi I followed the guide and "allowed" access to my dropbox account but I keep getting this: [ALERT]: Dropbox needs to rename your existing folder or file named Dropbox to finish installing. Please close any open documents and try again.
  3. Hi everyone My unraid freezes everyday without any warning. First the docker images stop working and then the GUI interface, Sometimes I can still access it thru ipmi and can still log on to the box, but any attempt to reboot it thru command will result freezing up the unraid. Hardware is a Dell r730XD server 2x E5-2650L v3 32GB ram, 12 disks hdds. I'm guessing its the usb drive, sometimes it gets pretty toasty inside the server. But I'm not 100% sure. Thanks in advance tower-diagnostics-20220611-0757.zip
  4. Hello I'm trying to setup a remote datastore to save all my esxi's vms. I've already setup a share and enable the NFS service on the unRaid side. NFS Security Settings Share name: tower Export: yes Security: Private On the ESXI 7.0 Storage --> New datastore --> Mount NFS datastore Name: tower NFS Server: unraid's ip NFS share: /tower NFS version: NFS 3 Then I get this error: Failed to mount NFS datastore tower - NFS mount 192.168.88.99:/tower failed: The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it Also tried leaving Security: Public Add the same user on ESXI machine And used foward and back slashes / \ From what I can gather: 1) unRaid does not support NFS 4 2) ESXI can only mount shares in NFS with VMFS FS... Is this true? 3) Why login credentials only appears when I select NFS 4 on ESXI and not with NFS 3? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
