Just discovered a major benefit!  With unionfs if you wanted to move files that existed in the rclone mount, it would first download them to the relevant folder in rclone_upload, then upload them and finally then delete the original file in the mount - a lot of transfer.  The only way to do quickly was to work directly on the rclone mount.

mergerfs just moves the file within the mount without downloading and re-uploading!  This should solve some of the transfer problems people have been having, as the move acts like a normal move within a drive without the lockups that you'd get sometimes with unionfs.

Much better handling of the merged folders 🙂

Oh man this will be awesome.  I had a bunch of files in my drive but wanted to change the modified date.   it downloaded it locally before it change the file.  will give this a shot tomorrow.

    Autoremoveplus plugin:

What settings are you using for this? I tried to use 0.6.1, 0.6.6, and 0.6.8 for 2.7 python and none would show up after restarting. I then tried the one you compiled, and it shows up and lets me select things (though it looks completely different). But no matter what settings I use, it does not remove anything ever.

My egg will only work on python 3.8 and deluge 2.  won't work on 1.

unRAID pulled an update tonight, and now I'm getting the following in the logs:

    2019-12-23 01:25:41,714 DEBG 'watchdog-script' stderr output:
    *** buffer overflow detected ***: /usr/bin/python terminated

The docker then becomes unusable - restarting just gets to the same spot. I think something's borked.

I just updated and mine's been stable for the last 10 mins.  How many torrents are you seeding?

I commend your effort. The total lack of research or effort put in by a lot of newcomers in this topic is totally killing my interest in helping them.

I've helped a few in here to totally set it up through a remote session, but all of them put in a lot of work themselves to try to get it to work.

What I mostly see happening now is people coming it saying it doesn't work and then we should magically, understand where the fix is. This whole solution is not mainstream and it never will be. Even when DZMM and others here like me have it running without huge issues, there are still some problems we might forget because solving them has become second nature to us. Think about Api bans, using seperate mounts for different dockers, RAM filling up., etc. Things like a video guide will not give the whole picture of how and why it is functioning like it is and thus it will just move the stress to troubleshooting when it's running.

So my advice: don't waste more time on the people who want it on a silver platter. Maybe I come across harsh, but I'm used trying to find solutions myself and then presenting what I have tried and where I ran into issues.

Couldn't agree more.  I am genuinely interested in helping people out because i think this is a fantastic solution.  But people need to help themselves as well.

😂 okay I must be doing something wrong here ... I open deluge, I go to preferences select plugins, then choose install, I browse to my download folder and select the .egg file that I downloaded from your link, hit install ... a tiny window pops ups for a fraction of a second and then nothing happens. Could this maybe be a permissions thing where it can't write to the folder? Is there any way I can install this manually?

    Deluge.PNG

This window pops up for a fraction of a second

Don't upload the egg.  Copy it into the plugins folder in your App Data.  Then open the core.conf file and add it in to the "Plugins enabled" section.  That it the best way  The upload feature seems to be broken.

Thanks for that.  I can get the configuration interface to come up in the web client, but not in my thin client (running v2.1.1.dev7501). Perhaps I need to find a 2.0.4 thin client for Linux Mint.

The Thin client needs to match for it to work correctly.  I use the RSS Plugin but that only works with the desktop client, so you may need to find a copy of it.

I don't think anything about unraid is for beginners, so I disagree and say any unRAID user should be able to complete these guides and follow space invader's video's (particularly as they can see and copy what he does),

@kagzz is right and maybe a video guide would be helpful just to see the steps in action - I'm not in the mood to do a youtube video, but I might record my screen one day over xmas if I get bored doing a setup from a scratch.

Bit hard to say that when you can write shell scripts.  The vast majority of users using unraid wouldn't know the first thing to do in a terminal.  On the surface absolutely a beginner shouldn't have an issue.  But if you peak under the covers then you at least need to know a bit about linux to ensure you don't stuff anything up.

Yes i know sir im a noob :'(, so its dosent work for me

Whilst Space Invader's Video and @DZMM' guide are great.  There is an element of know how required.  I would not consider this a beginner level thing.  You have a very real possibility of deleting everything on your array with a rouge command.  Even i managed to delete 4TB of local data the other day with a missing /.

If you follow the guide to the letter it will work, but if you miss one thing it might not so be careful.  Also there are only a handful of people using this process so support is pretty much limited to this thread.  That being said i'm happy to help where i can.

I'm also working on a rClone script to move data from my cache to the array based on modified date.  Pretty much a copy pasta of this script but i want granular control of what is on the SSD cache rather than just using mover to move everything once a month.

Hey @binhex.  Trying to install the remove plugin for Deluge however looks like it won't enable in the new version.

There is already a bug report on the plugin git.

    https://github.com/springjools/deluge-autoremoveplus/issues/3

Any chance we can get this module included in the docker container?

    Thanks

FYI i've manually installed python-future in the container and the plugin now works.  Any chance we can get it added to both the binhex-deluge and binhex-delugevpn images?

I was just checking my Unraid Logs before and i'm getting the below error appearing every few seconds.

Nov 29 21:37:25 Tower nginx: 2019/11/29 21:37:25 [crit] 8534#8534: *7654 connect() to unix:/var/tmp/binhex-deluge.sock failed (2: No such file or directory) while connecting to upstream, client: 192.168.2.5, server: , request: "GET /dockerterminal/binhex-deluge/ws HTTP/1.0", upstream: "http://unix:/var/tmp/binhex-deluge.sock:/ws", host: "unraid.mydomain.net"

Thought is might be letsencrypt related so i disabled my Deluge config but it still kept coming up.

So then i thought i would stop deluge all together and it still kept coming up.

Really scratching my head where it is coming from.  Any ideas?

Turns out this was Organizr.  Restarting the container fixed it.
