  1. Welp, I figured it out (likely no one else with this issue but just in case).... So, my unraid box is connected via a 10G NIC. Way back when, I was told to set my NIC's MTU to 9000 with jumbo frames on in my switch upstream to utilize full speed. Turns out, this is what messed up my (well my instance of) unraid-nvidia plugin. With MTU set back to 1500 on the NIC, it popped up the builds within seconds and now I'm slowly downloading it as CHBMB intended it to be What a headache...all self inflicted.
  2. Thanks @CHBMB for the script. It's been downloading for hours...no idea why my network hates that destination so much
  3. Is there a way to download the latest build manually? I keep getting upstream timeout errors.
  4. Did a search and couldn't find this exact issue for weeks on this topic, but if it's already been mentioned and I missed it, I apologize. When trying to load the latest available builds, I get this in the logs (and the builds never load): nginx: 2020/02/09 11:10:13 [error] 7421#7421: *52 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 192.168.1.201, server: , request: "POST /plugins/Unraid-Nvidia/include/exec.php HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock", host: "192.168.1.102:81", referrer: "http://192.168.1.102:81/Settings/Unraid-Nvidia" Any ideas?
  5. How do I begin? There are so many things to like about Unraid. I’ve been storing data (on more than just the conventional desktop platform) for over 15 years. For years hardware RAID was the king of redundancy. RAID 1, 5, 1+0…these were my bread and butter. And back then, having so many gigabytes at my disposal came with the peace of mind that my data was safe (of course, by means of backup both locally and remotely) with a disk failure or two. But those days were difficult as hard drives kept increasing in size and changed brand…heck even PATA was gone in favor of SATA. Those were different times. Fast forwarding to Flexraid, that was my first software raid. But weekly snapshots? An old clunky system? Using Windows as the backend? I don’t want to slam anyone here but that just…wasn’t a long term solution. A number of years ago, I was introduced to Unraid. The simplicity of the software, the fact that it’s based on linux, the ability to not only use VMs but also Docker in addition to the core features of a NAS? These are all amazing. The real time parity calculation is the icing on the cake. To answer this question, the best thing about Unraid, is its versatility. The fact that there are many solutions out there for a NAS or a Hypervisor or even a powerful OS that is great at using Docker (through portainer or otherwise). Unraid does it all, and that’s what I love about it. The fact that Unraid isn’t just an OS..it’s a platform for servers everywhere (especially in my homelab!) What would I like to see in Unraid in 2020? As a datahoarder, I have a ton of data from all different sorts. Redundancy is a huge piece of the puzzle, since I know that two of my drives are always protected from failure. But, I’m a firm believer in the 3-2-1 backup methodology. And I think, if Unraid had the support to span multiple arrays where one could be backed up to another, this would be a game changer. Multiple pools is no new request, but I think backup is a huge part to long term support for Unraid. And it would be a nice to have. Unraid is awesome. I’ve recommended (and so far a dozen have implemented it) to a ton of my friends. We all love unraid and we all love the community that goes with it. Thanks for making such a great product!
  6. Do you have any interest in joining the Limetech team as an official member of support? I feel like your contributions via YT have been substantially helpful to the community and you should be getting paid for your work. Just saying.
  7. Happy birthday Limetech! Unraid has been a fantastic product for me. Finally an easy way to organize my Nas, deploy docker, and host VMs all under one super-easy-to-use package. Recommended this product to a few of my friends and we all enjoy unraid together. Thanks for the constant updates and for making such a great piece of software.
  8. Anyone help me with why my Sabrent NVME m.2 (PCIe x4) SSD won't TRIM? It keeps failing and I'm not sure why.
  9. Thanks for your help and prompt replies. I appreciate it.
  10. Well, I completely forgot about HDtuning ever since I put in my 10G NIC. Only a couple database containers require the config to be in /mnt/cache rather than /mnt/user. Don't know why. Looks like that worked.
  11. Installed guacd + guacamole. Still can't get past the login page. Was worth a shot.
  12. Didn't know that. Guacamole used to work without it. I'll give it a try though. I put my catalina.out file a few posts ago, right below my screenshot.
  13. Still no joy. I don't need guacd by chance, do I? Again, just to make sure we're on the same page...guacamole loads up in the browser just fine. I just can't get past the login screen.
  14. Unraid has been running great with the exception of Guacamole. I'll run a scrub and if that fails, I'll make a new docker.img
  15. /config is pointed to /mnt/user/appdata/ApacheGuacamole. I was navigating in cache while in terminal, but the config is correct in the unraid GUI. I followed your instructions to copy over the .jar file, renamed it to .zip and then extracted. I have a number of folders inside here.
  16. That worked. See attached. Regarding your last, I couldn't save it as a zip before so it didn't work. Screenshots also of the extensions and lib ls -l as well. catalina.out
  17. Oh I just meant if I try to copy the catalina.out file, it doesn't let me because it belongs to a different user than the one on my Windows machine (i.e. "nobody" for unraid)
  18. Tried deleting the files and starting it back up. Used guacadmin/guacadmin. No joy. Uninstalled the container, cleaned up appdata and re-installed. Deleted the files again. No joy.
  19. Couldn't post my catalina.out due to permission problems, but here's a screenshot. Not sure what to make of it.
  20. How would I go about updating the schema? ELI5 if possible
  21. Yes, it's set to Y (since that's the default). I'll install MySQL workbench as well to see what's going on and post back.
  22. I also have the same problem. In my case, I have mariadb for nextcloud and that works great. I used to have guacamole working, but 5 clean installs later and I can't get past the login page for both the mariadb version and the version without it. I tried guacadmin for both u/p and it never lets me in. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Docker console log says: Creating properties from template. Copying MySQL extension. Updating user permissions. 2019-02-12 16:24:04,304 CRIT Set uid to user 0 2019-02-12 16:24:04,306 INFO supervisord started with pid 19 2019-02-12 16:24:05,307 INFO spawned: 'guacd' with pid 22 2019-02-12 16:24:05,308 INFO spawned: 'tomcat8' with pid 23 guacd[22]: INFO: Guacamole proxy daemon (guacd) version 1.0.0 started guacd[22]: INFO: Listening on host 0.0.0.0, port 4822 2019-02-12 16:24:06,333 INFO success: guacd entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs) 2019-02-12 16:24:06,333 INFO success: tomcat8 entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs) The same docker log for mariadb, except an extra line saying maridb entered RUNNING state, successfully.
  23. +1 to add NVIDIA drivers for Plex Docker GPU transcoding. Plex in a Docker container is just so amazing. It's hard to give that up just to use my P2000.
