  1. Thanks I had tried taking everything out of the hosts file so no luck there. As non of my docker UIs are accessible either it wouldn't seem to be something wrong in the unraid UI settings and has to be an issue with the windows computer. Ironically enough it all started working as I was trying this and then 10 minutes stopped working again. Infuriating! Thanks again for trying to help.
  2. Ping to the server works just fine. Tracert below Tracing route to 192.168.1.222 over a maximum of 30 hops 1 2 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.222 Trace complete.
  3. The command ran fine and I rebooted, but the issue remains.
  4. I've just tried a reboot of the router and the (passive switch) but no luck. All the static I.Ps are assigned by the router, no device sets its own I.P as far I know.
  5. They are both on the 192.168.1.xxx subnet
  6. Ok, the wifi was already set to private so can't try that. I have tried plugging the windows machine directly into the router and letting it pickup an I.P via DHCP but I still cannot access the unraid machine over a wired connection.
  7. I removed the static I.P assignment from the router and rebooted the windows machine. It picked the same I.P anyway. I have tried manually assigning a different I.P manually on the windows machine and it still can't access the unraid webui etc..
  8. A different IP for the windows machine or unraid?
  9. The WiFi is set as 'private network'
  10. As the title says one specific computer (win11) on my network regularly cannot access unraid's webgui, any dockers or connect via SSH. PING always works. I am trying to connect via the local IPv4 address but get a 'ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED' refused message from chrome and the equivalent message from Edge. The computer has an static IP assigned by the router and automatic DNS. I've tried the 'Network reset' option in windows but no luck. I have no problem with access from other windows computers and my android phone. Any ideas?
  11. I enabled the syslog client service and set it up to send logs to my windows laptop. They weren't being received but this didn't seem surprising in the circumstances but just to test I also enabled the syslog client service on my router and pointed that at the laptop too. Those weren't received either which didn't make sense. Got me to thinking that it's the laptop with an issue not the unraid machine and I tried to access the webui and dockers from my phone. Both work on the phone even though the laptop still can't access them. So this is some issue with the laptop, not unraid I think. This isn't the place for windows troubleshooting so I'll mark the topic as solved.
  12. Hi all, I keep losing access to the webui (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED), all dockers and SSH. A hard reboot will restore all of this but then access will be lost again after a few hours or a day (no apparent consistency). Most recently access was randomly restored without a reboot before going down again a few hours later. The server responds to pings and I can still access shares via SMB. I can still access some docker containers like Plex externally (i.e. via app.plex.tv) so this would suggest a local network problem. The server has a static IP assigned by the router that is outside the DHCP range. The router is a Zyxel DX3301-T0 supplied by the ISP. Unraid is the latest stable version and was recently rebuilt on a new USB stick after another network problem where unraid couldn't reach the internet.
  13. I have just updated unraid to 6.12.10 ( I was a few subversions back) and no longer have any internet access (it connects to my LAN fine). Unraid cannot ping any IP or domain name and no docker container has internet access. Unraid has a static IP assigned but I have also tried reverting to DHCP. I have tried the below common suggestions - I have restarted unraid and my router. I have ensured that unraid is using available DNS servers (I've tried google and cloudflare) I have ensured my system time is correct It's not a realtek NIC Have tried macvlan and ipvlan What else can I try? Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20240601-0743.zip
  14. Hi, yes it was enabled but disabling it hasn't changed the result. I am using chrome on android to try and access sonarr. My router doesn't support NAT loopback so I can't test the external address through the laptop.
  15. Thanks for the advice. I've changed the setting to http and 'force ssl' but i still get 'ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED' unfortunately.
  16. Hello all, I have NPM working well (in docker) with my own domain name and using duckdns as the dynamic DNS service. My subdomains (sonarr, radarr etc, also in docker) are set to use http but what settings do I need to change to use https? For example I change the radarr subdomain to https scheme and then request a new certificate which appears to work but if i then try to navigate to https://radarr.mydomain.co.uk I get 'ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED' in Chrome. Do I need to change any other settings anywhere?
  17. @cheesemarathon ah sorry I hadn't realised that was the setup here. I've created an issue on the github page so let's see if anything comes of that. Cheers.
  18. I have recently setup the VNCWebbrowser container and it works great but the only issue is that there is no persistence of settings etc between container restarts. I presume that as it does not create a directory in appdata this is the intended design?
