    Roku 4ks directplay 4k content, you must have an older version. The only thing they transcode is HD 7.1 so you shouldn't really be having any issues direct playing 4k if you are running roku 4ks premier, ultra, 4k stick etc. Also, the new fire stick 4ks directplay everything as well for currently $34 bucks! Normal price is $49 cheap for what they support.. HDR 10+, atmos, vision etc.
