Unraid Server to Server Backups
Howard Callender replied to SpencerJ's topic in Unraid Blog and Uncast Show Discussion
Hello, as I don't have access to my router, maybe zerotier may help like this there is no need to transfer keys or port forwarding. I hope it helps. -
Have you tried NextCloud? You can backup photos and sync files.
-
Howard Callender started following Unraid installation no network X8DTN+ , Share/WebDav Encryption via Cryptomator , Unraid Server to Server Backups and 3 others
-
I would thank unraid team for the great work you all are doing. I would like to request the following: Cryptomator to encrypt file share and maybe add webdav services which also can take advantage of the encryption. Also this may help with data duplication or syncing files to backup/offsite servers. or a docker based on Cryptomator that will encrypt/decrypt and mount the volume in the unassigned smb share for file access. This is based on the article I read. thank you, keep up the great work.

automatically store photos from phone to unraid?
Howard Callender replied to david97's topic in Lounge
Thank you I use it at work. But I just don't like the monthly fees or annual fees. I prefer to buy it out right or pay the extra to unraid to make sure they are around in the future.🤣 -

Plex Camera Upload is being discontinued as of June 2021. Do you have another solution besides nextcloud. I really wished Unraid had an app similar to Synology moments or Photos. That would push Unraid sales more. Thank you! -

Ryzen Crashing After Rebuild
Howard Callender replied to Howard Callender's topic in General Support
First of thank you. Can you tell what speed setting to use. I have 64 gb Ram installed. Please see attached the picture of the box. In addition I have overclocked the processor at the max speed. I will run server for a bit so I can collect more data in the syslog as I took your recommendation. zeus-diagnostics-20191123-1435.zip -
Ryzen Crashing After Rebuild

Thank you for your help. Let you know of any changes -
Hello, my ryzen server is constantly crashing I have replaced every hard and cache drive. Thanks to SpaceInvaderOne I have added the script to my startup and that stopped for some time. It looks like it is a cache problem and I have replaced the drives, the ports and the cables. So I decide to do a fresh install on the usb and started from scratch. Party and Data Drive where fine no errors. Added the cache drives no error. Suddenly I start having errors on the cache drives and I replaced them too and still an issue. I don't know but my server keeps locking up. I really don't have much experience and anyone tell me why my system keep crashing. Thank you for all your help. zeus-diagnostics-20191122-2108.zip

Hello, My Unraid usb crashed and made new one and transferred my config from my backup and everything seems to run fine. This is the second time that the server was unresponsive. I noticed that it happened after the server has been running for a few days. I hope someone can help me resolve the issue. Thank you for your support. Please see attached my log files. zeus-diagnostics-20191014-1510.zip

Unraid installation no network X8DTN+
Howard Callender replied to Howard Callender's topic in General Support
Hello Ninety Two, Thank you for your response. You are correct. I found the issue. During the Disk Creation there was a section which asked to make the USB Bootable and UEFI enabled. Once I set the UEFI to "NO" and made the USB Bootable. Everything worked PERFECT!. Thank you! -
Hello everyone, I picked up from eBay a supermicro server with 24 bays and a X8DTN+ motherboard. During installation I got an error bond0 not found. For some reason unraid doesn't find the integrated nic. I tried everything. Including live USB with Ubuntu which shows that everything worked fine. I found an old Post and which read to disable the pci-x and that did not work either. I am using the latest version of unraid 6.6.5 I hope someone can help me solve the issue. Many thanks, Howard C.
