I am the original owner of this 2015 6tb WD Red. Used exclusively in average used Plex system on Unraid. Occasionally I will have the drive stop working, emulated, device not available and such. I usually can get it working but often requiring re-format and than rebuild. Occassionally I see write errors but they seem to clear on there own. I can only do the Short Smart Test within Unraid. Not sure if it times out due to errors or if not supported?? Also not completely sure if these are due to the HBA, PCI errors. Mostly I am just trying to understand/learn more about the process. 2015 drive is old and have a new one on the way. tower-smart-20231017-2052.zip

What I finally wound up doing was changing the "Extender?" on the back of the drive that plugs into the disk shelf back plane. It then recognized it as a empty slot. I re-added the same drive to that slot in Unraid and it basically is treating it like a new drive, erasing it and rebuilding it off the parity drives. I will have to see how it behaves after that. I was never able to run the long smart test but I tried. Thank you for the help.

I came home from work and found that disk 9 is disabled by Unraid and not sure how to really fix it. I don't think the disk is actyually bad but who knows. It is attached in the first slot of a Diskshelf but all other drives are working in same shelf. Is this supposed to automatically assign the devices?? I can see all of my hard drives but none are assigned. It is not necessarily a server box but rather a home build with 10 drives. i am showing this error however Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/disklocation/pages/system.php on line 317

For others, I think the problem may be that it is a Walmart Debit card that I load and use for purchases that I don't want my banking information used. I double checked the balance, there was enough there. Occasionally I have had problems using this as a payment source. I think it wants a real bank account and/or credit card. I am trying to buy a license key using the C.C. checkout method. I have tried multiple times without success. "Your request is denied" I saw an earlier post that you are having a problem with your credit card processor. Is this still the case?
