  1. It says in your logs why you are unable to access it through the web browser. You should reference Q2 in the below documentation to make it persist through reboot. Just be sure you have your "LAN_NETWORK" variable correctly identified in the container. Also, you should change your PIA password, it's in the logs. https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md
  2. What is your internet speed you are downloading from? A VPN will definitely slow things down for usenet transfer speeds and some VPNs will be faster than others. You don't really need a VPN for usenet since it uses SSL/TLS, but if you value anonymity over transfer speeds, then try a few different VPNs or even set up your own. If you're not using a seedbox, you can look into that as well.
  3. From what you posted, it appears you have the same rclone setup, just one uses the "team_drive" setting. You don't reference the gdrive or gcrypt in the settings that you posted, so it wouldn't be access/used. I would say you are free to remove it from your rclone config if you don't use it for any other purpose. I have a similar setup, but I use the separate drive mappings for separate things.
  4. It really just depends on what you use the rclone drive for. If you are sending downloads to it that are only going to be there temporarily until they are moved to their respective folders, I would say a cache drive is almost necessary to have. If it is just for media and your downloads are local, you may not need it. I personally would keep it either way. Depending on what you are uploading, recent data is more likely to be accesses, which would be local and cut down on your rclone drive being queried, thus reducing the amount of API calls.
  5. I do this with a Windows machine and an unRAID server. Just generate the second box another oauth and service account for it so you can avoid hitting API limits and make the second box read only. Also, on the second box, don't set up a cache, because if you change files or update a file that is already in the cache, it will cause duplicates if they have different extensions.
