  1. thank you that fixed it. UI is also more responsive than 6.12.4 but still very unresponsive. Before 6.12.2 the ui loaded instantly now pages mostly docker and dashboard take a minute or so to load
  2. it gets stuck here. its been like this for hours. Downloading... /boot/logs/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640.zip top -bn1 -o%CPU 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/top.txt' tail /boot/bz*.sha256 >> '/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/unraid-6.12.5.txt' uptime nproc lscpu 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lscpu.txt' lsscsi -vgl 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lsscsi.txt' lspci -knn 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lspci.txt' lsusb 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lsusb.txt' free -mth 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/memory.txt' ps -auxf --sort=-pcpu 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/ps.txt' lsof -Pni 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lsof.txt' lsmod|sort 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/lsmod.txt' df -h 2>/dev/null|todos >'/constantinides-diagnostics-20231130-1640/system/df.txt' ip -br a|awk '/^(eth|bond)[0-9]+ /{print $1}'|sort
  3. so my set-up is a bit weird but it works and i used it for years without problems. i have a pf-sense vm that i pass through pci the motherboard giagabit that is connected to WAN. i have another virtual ethenet adapter in the vm br0 then i have a eth0 2.5 gigabit adapter that is bridged with the br0 adapter and i connect my laptop to that for internet/server access but for one reason eh0 doesn't bridge anymore. br0 is working because i my server can still access the internet and i can still vpn into the pfsense router to access the server.
  4. here's the ip i get and heres me pinging them btw I dont know why but after i added the gateway by pressing this I loose my internet connection. so for the time being i have the openvpn service disabled. Also I can't delete the gateway and if i do by removing the interface and re-adding it it comes back because there is no way to un-press the gateway creation button. but I should loose my connection i doesn't make sense since my wan is my default gateway and my only static route is that above. since at home I am not running ovpn on pfsense just on linux don't I do it from the tunnel settings of the client here in my local pfsense?
  5. yea wan port is connected to the dorms network so my home network is just a standard isp router and a arm64 ubuntu server running openvpn. from the home server I just generated a ovpn file that I opened and imported into pfsense ovpn client here. the network home is 192.168.0.0/24 here I have my unraid server with pfsense vm. the intergraded gigabit port is passed thru and used as a wan port connected to the dorm internet. then i have my lan port which a virtual adapter bridged with the actual adapter that has a network 192.168.1.0/24 I am not able to ping anything on the home network.
  6. ok now I got local LAN 192.168.1.0/24 home LAN 192.168.0.0/24 (got openvpn running on a ubuntu server at home) I want to connect those networks so i can access my home networks resources, let my family access my recourses and forward plex and nextcloud from there. as of now I managed to connect to my vpn server create a gateway make my interface setup my static route added a default allow to any rule for home but Its not working any ideas?
  7. thanks the hybrid solution worked great I just wanted to build a functioning network for my dorm that's it. the 2.5G NIC is connected to my laptop and I can now access both my server and the internet. another reason I wanted this is to be able to re-route some stuff like plex on my ovpn server back home so my brothers can watch.
  8. so is the correct way to get another nic and pass it in for wan. have my lan on the 2.5gb port? if I do this can I connect my unraid server to the lan thru a virual nic so i can use the full 2.5gb rather than connecting it to the lan thru the mobo gigabit?
  9. followed the instructions here and managed to get it working first test
  10. ok so I made a freebsd vm and i can see it this is the nic but I found from amazon.com reviews says that its not compatible with freebsd but i found drivers from realtek website for freebsd 7 and 8 and i am trying to get them to work
  11. I have 2 nics the onboard and the pcie only the onboard for the wan is virtual the lan is a passed thru
  12. so I am connecting to the internet using my onboard gigabit which I passed thru as virtual bridge and it is detected just fine and I have a 2.5 gigabit pci-e network adaptor for lan and the 2.5 nic isn't detected. btw the activity leds on the nic are off and they turn on when i start the vm. here are my IOMMU groups PCI Devices and IOMMU Groups Warning: Your system has booted with the PCIe ACS Override setting enabled. 15. found how to do it go to your docker, advanced view and add the flag in extra parameters
  16. i just get the command failed and the docker becomes and orphan image this way
  17. click turn windows features on or of and the add roles and extra features wizard popped up from there i installed the services you suggested and it didn't work (same error) but i had an idea and managed to fix it. if you have this issue just install those services and then go to control panel/credentials manager from there click on add a windows credential. now enter your ip or computer name, username, and password and it will work btw if you enter your ip and you try to access from your computer name or vise versa it wont work you have to add the name. (you can add both at the same time) hope this helps someone in the future
  18. this was the first thing i tried to do (people already said it in this thread) so i tried and there is nothing
  19. its a fresh install of windows server 2016 and i just get that error i didnt do anything just installed it then i installed the drivers and tried to access the shares and i get this i can ping devices on my network just fine and if i put ip of other computers i get the login promt but not for my server ip
  20. so i made a windows server vm and i want to access my array but i cant connect to my arrays samba for some reason i get this it works fine if i try to connect to my workstation i get the login prompt and samba works fine from workstation and other computers. i can also ping the server ip just fine
  21. yea thats what i use atm but it would be very useful if they are added to the os just like how much ram is used you could also do that before but now its much more convenient
  22. it would be nice to be able to see the throughput (tx and rx) that each docker is using just like the ram and the CPU usage from the docker tab. and a button next to the advanced view to switch them between bits and bytes
  23. now it's fine! the bios update must have cut some voltage like you said because it used to be stable thank you now how do i mark as solved?
