  1. Hi all, just a short update. Replace PSU and all the drive cabling, swapped out a cache disk that was tossing errors. (amazing what you find when you really start reading the logs haha). I also set the C-state in the bios to 'off' (Ryzen CPU unraid recommendation). So far 8 hours of uptime. Fingers crossed. Running 6.11.2
  2. I've done a lot of the same, and the random crashing has gotten worse. Every hour. Nothing in the logs. I've started replacing physical cables and drives to see if that is the problem. No relief yet. I guess I'll try a new USB install. PIA having to ditch all my config though. Some items to note: I too am on a Ryzen system. Wonder if this has something to do with it? I also have my main disks on reiserfs but dread having to update them to XFS.
  3. So, I reverted back to 6.10.3, uninstalled all the plugins i've been using (recommended via another post). I'm still experiencing hard crashes. Nothing being logged. I'm tailing the syslog to my laptop moving forward, also storing it on my array temporality in hopes I can catch a clue. I'm going to assume I have a local issue at this point and will start to narrow down to a barebones system and document results. If anyone has suggestions on how to debug these issues I'd appreciate the pov. Thank you again, Cary
  4. I don't have any concrete evidence to add this thread, other than I as experiencing crashing every hour after updating to 6.11 on a solid system. Downgrading to 6.10 has seen no crashes in 24 hours so far. I did do a mem test for 24 hours and no errors came up. All drive reporting healthy. I have no logs to share (apologies) Running mostly the same plugins noted in the thread Not running torrents. Thank you, C
  5. Hi, Figured this one out. The IP address pointing to my local plex server was incorrect. Apologies for the wasted effort and replies. Everything is working now. Thank you, c
  6. @ninthwalker, sorry for the tardy reply. 1. New install, so never got it working 2. I did, same results. 3. /library/section returns: 401 Unauthorized /library/sections?X-Plex-Token= returns XML with a list of the sections with domain: (only local domain) returns XML with a list of the sections
  7. Hi, Hoping someone can help me with a nowshowing connection issue; When I run: sudo docker exec nowshowing combinedreport -t I get the following error: /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:880:in `initialize': execution expired (Net::OpenTimeout) from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:880:in `open' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:880:in `block in connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/timeout.rb:101:in `timeout' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:878:in `connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:863:in `do_start' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:852:in `start' from /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:1398:in `request' from /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.3.0/gems/httparty-0.13.1/lib/httparty/request.rb:93:in `perform' from /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.3.0/gems/httparty-0.13.1/lib/httparty.rb:521:in `perform_request' from /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.3.0/gems/httparty-0.13.1/lib/httparty.rb:457:in `get' from /var/lib/nowshowing/plex.rb:29:in `get' from /usr/local/sbin/combinedreport:98:in `getMovies' from /usr/local/sbin/combinedreport:373:in `main' from /usr/local/sbin/combinedreport:398:in `<main>' I've looked at the combinedreport file for the getMovies function call in the dockerfile; The code on line 96 seems to be unable to connect to the plex /library/sections path. (Line 96 in combinedreport): library = plex.get('/library/sections') 1. Plex is working properly on my system 2. I've also outputted a plex instance via a $logger call in combinedreport. 3. Pardon my ignorance, but i'm not sure what /library/sections pertains to at this moment. The logs for start up indicate the following: ----------------------------------------- NowShowing ----------------------------------------- Brought to you by: Ninthwalker/GroxyPod/Limen75 ----------------------------------------- User xyz set to: 99 Group xyz set to: 100 ----------------------------------------- [cont-init.d] 10-set-uidgid: exited 0. [cont-init.d] 20-setup: exited 0. [cont-init.d] done. [services.d] starting services [services.d] done. I've attached my docker container setting for nowshowing container. Before I dive in any deeper I'm hoping someone can point me in a better direction. thank you, C
  8. I had this issue as well; to get it to work I just CD'ed to directly to the plugins directory and ran the command 'installplg simplefeatures_itunesserver.plg' c
  9. if anyone is wondering why their server is not starting and is throwing Avahi errors. I found that i was missing the avahi user in my /boot/config/go/passwd file, so I added the following line: avahi:*:558:558:Avahi Daemon User:/nonexistent:/sbin/nologin Lo and behold, the service started working again and, thus, so did this plugin. I hope this helps someone with the issues i've been reading here regarding Avahi. c
  10. A small update. I've tried a fresh USB stick with a new copy of 5b12a coupled with my existing configuration. System is on line, disk is checking parity, so it appears to be either a bad USB stick or my full Slackware install has corruption some where. I will probably stick with the original stick install going forward until 5.0 is release before heading back to a full Slackware install. thank you for the suggestions. regards, Cary.
  11. Yeah, i thought so too; pulled it, checked the file system. Everything seems to be working. tried different ports. It is mounting in the FS. regardless, I will try a new key when I get home. c
  12. Well, I still can't seem to find anything in the system that indicates as to why the array will not start. I did notice this in the logs for the GUI : "Warning: Flash device not mounted!" I can't find any reference to this error in the forms. Not sure if this is the issue. 13. Good question on udev and consolekit. It may be my adventures in trying to turn this in to a media server a while back. I will disable consolekit loading in rc.local. I'll look in to why the error for udev is coming up as well. I don't have any add ons that I know of, other than stock installation. c
