My old reliable UNRAD 6.2 server that I have been using for 8 years got damaged by a lightning strike. It took out the onboard NIC. I disabled it in BIOS and installed an Intel PRO/1000. UNRAID complains it doesn't exist and in fact all the lights on the card go out when the OS is loaded. Using a USB stick with Linux Mint I verified the card works in this machine very well. I cannot boot into GUI mode, the boot mode selector doesn't respond to the keyboard so I am stuck in terminal mode. I don't know how to get to the syslog yet to examine it. Where do I begin to look to make this work again?

jgourd started following [SOLVED] Added 4 new disks, no new free space on existing shares., Mini PACS, AMD CPU not throttling down and and 5 others

Those cost several million dollars and have quarter million dollar yearly maintenance fees to boot.

I can't thank you enough. Like I said I can't spare any cycles to look at this until June. Such is the life of a medical imaging consultant who takes contracts away from home.
-
Dude, you totally rock. My current contract ends in a few months and I will get home to play with this. To test it you can set up a DICOM workstation and get some sample images off the web. I recommend Osirix but it is only MacOS so an alternative is a demo of ClearCanvas.
-
It uses DICOM standards to acquire and distribute images. Since X-Ray film is now obsolete, all modalities (Radiology image generating devices) output DICOM images over TCP/IP.

http://www.dcm4che.org/ Is an open source PACS with packages for most distros. I think I should try to run the PACS in a VM instead of a docker container.
-
No, I was thinking of building turnkey PACS systems for veterinary use. Vets have no money so a cheap PACS that is plug and play might be attractive to them.
-
Has anyone ever tried to build a Mini PACS using unRAID and docker containers? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picture_archiving_and_communication_system Thanks for listening!

I also have this issue. The system goes to 100% CPU and I have to power cycle it to get it back. Zero Dockers are installed. I was happening every few days, now it is every day.

Three browsers on the machines? Could it have to do with the fact that I edited it with textedit on a Mac?

I am trying to add my domain as a trusted domain. I added a domain. 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.1.15', 1 => ‘xyzxyzxyz.kick-azz.org’, When I restart ownCloud, the web page is blank white.

I already have a good Plex server, how about an OwnCloud example?

After running mover several times there is a folder with one file that cannot be deleted from my cache drive. I have shared the drive, copied the folder to my desktop and tried to delete the folder and I am being told permission denied. How can I get rid of this thing?
-
I agree, I started using Plex yesterday and it is good. I have to learn a few things about it such as how it handles the deletion of content when that content was deleted outside of Plex. My only problem with it is that there isn't a Linux client or web based way to consume the media. In my house I am using the Roku channel which kinda rocks. For the Linux machines in the house I use Subsonic.

You can also load a Subsonic server. It has a mode where any web browser can force the server to play the files locally which you can connect to your stereo. In addition you can play through a Roku, iOS devices, and any Flash enabled web browser. http://www.subsonic.org/pages/index.jsp
