Thanks. I will wait for further release. I'm running the 6.11.5 and I have the crash bug when I shut the VM down.
I would post your diagnosics so that someone from Limetech can look and see if it's a bug that needs addressing! Don't assume they know about it!

Hello,
How did you manage to solve this issue?
Hi, it solved itself with 6.11.4!!! Couldn't tell you what it was! Sorry! It would be nice if the GPU bug got fixed too!

Changed Status to Solved

No news! 2 new versions that don't fix anything!! Do I need to go back to 6.10 and abandon 6.11 as a dud release?

Hi, Ubuntu VM is ok for me, only issue on shut down is the same as Chrome OS, it doesn't switch off the GPU so the monitor stays on! It stays on displaying: [16543.588016] reboot: Power down
It's a bit of a pain, (and waste of power!!) but not as bad as windows crashing the system. Although Windows does switch off GPU and so monitor goes to sleep!
I don't know if that points Limetech to anything?
Cheers,
Tim

Ok so had to run Windows 11 again yesterday and had usual problem, I'm guessing its something with networking although I can't even access comand line on the attached monitor, so had to do hard reset! I've attached diagnostics and syslog, it happened at around 3:30 - 4:00pm. I also don't seem to be able to change any settings on the Windows 11 VM, I attached my XMLs to this post:
If I can do any tests for you I'm more than happy to do so, as would like to get to the bottom of it!
Cheers,
Tim

Ok thanks SimonF, I probably didn't re-boot striaght away as it took awhile to realise that things were unstable!

Not being ignored but not everyone running win11 vm has this issue, so where to look?
How are you shutting down, from within windows or via VM 'Stop' dropdown option?
Hi, I usually shutdown from within the VM unless there is a problem and I need to force a shutdown.

Still nothing! I can't belive that such a bad bug that crashes the whole system is being ignored!!

They don't work.
Ok weird! Attached a new one!

Server just crashed, don’t know why! It’s 10 at night and was watching something on Plex when it just stopped playing, I checked and nothing was reachable! So I went into the office and tried to shut down via command line using the monitor and keyboard but that was frozen too, so had to hit the oh shit button! Attached diagnostics so maybe you can see what happened?

Have had very few problems with the beta's since 22, but drives not spinning down issue still not fixed for me! None of my drives have spun down since upgrading from beta 35 to rc1! Was hoping rc2 would fix this!
Also Dashboard and Docker page still don't scroll on iPad in Chrome or Safari. But then docker page never has, keep hoping it'll be fixed though!
Diagnostics attached.

As i said it is working fine for me. I have had problems in the past but it is OK now. It may be relevant that I am using the iOS14 beta so possibly a web engine (Which is used by both those browsers) problem has been fixed.
Ah OK good to know!

I have no problem using the Unraid interface on my iPad.
It's only the docker page, everything else is fine! It's the same in Safari and Chrome.

Has anyone noticed a problem with USB passthrough to Docker? It was working ok in 6.8 but not since updating to 6.9 betas. Is there something different that I've missed?
Cheers,
Tim

Was wondering, has there been any improvement with using Safari and unRAID web interface? Docker section has always been locking up randomly for me and requires to reload the page.
Docker page doesn't work at all on iPad and hasn't for quite a while! Keep hoping it'll be fixed with each new update? It just locks-up and won't scroll.
Unraid OS version 6.12.0-rc2 available

Hi, had a complete system crash! I think its the same issue that has plaged me with all 6.11 releases, the system becomes unstable after shutting down a VM, this time Ubuntu! It only ever crashes after running a VM but not always! On a plus though it seems that rc2 switches off the gpu on shutdown and the monitor now goes into standby!
