  1. How do I change the header menu to go from this: To something like this? I looked in the display menu and can't find anything. Thanks!
  2. Thanks! I checked out the link. It looks like I need to add the following: This is what I did. I just want to make sure its correct before I reboot. Thanks!
  3. I upgraded from 6.9.2 to 6.11.5 last week. The only things that have changed are I installed the My Servers plugin and uninstalled plugins that are no longer supported. (CA Backup v2 and the Nerd Pack) Then installed CA Backup v3 (Kluth version) Since then I have been getting notifications multiple times a day that Cache 2 is at 183 degrees. ( I have no clue as to why...) Then about 20-30 mins. later it goes back to normal. This is not normal behavior for my server. Very rarely would I ever get a notification the either of my cache drives are hot. Cache 2 has a heat sink and there is a fan that blows across both Cache drive 1 and 2. Any ideas? Thanks! unraid-diagnostics-20230108-0812.zip
  4. @SpaceInvaderOne I didn't see anything from your videos on how to set up the pfsense failover setup you mention in video one. Would you consider making a video to show how to configure it? I would really appreciate it. Thank you for all you do for the UNRAID community.
  5. The way I understand it is that VMs can either use virbr0 or br0. My default network bridge is br0. I don't want virbr0 in the routing table as I'm not using it. How do I remove it? Thanks.
  6. Ok. I wonder why I didn't see them before I changed my network IP scheme? What are they used for? Thanks!
  7. I recently changed my IP scheme for my entire network. After changing Unraid (6.9.2) from a static IP to DHCP (and creating a DHCP reservation on my router for Unraid) Then adding the new route in UnRaid I rebooted my server and I now see two entries that were not there before and I don't know how to remove them. I tried deleting them by clicking on the trach can icon. I tried disabling the VM and Docker managers but then they disappear and I can't delete them. I tried rebooting the server as well but also that did not help. My only docker containers are configured as "host" and don't use a 172 address. And the other one with the 192 address dose not match anything I was previously using and I'm no longer using 192 addresses on my network. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
  8. I did. My array looks healthy now. Thanks so much for your prompt response!
  9. Two of my drives are showing as disabled and I'm not sure why or how to fix it. Yesterday, I shutdown the server and installed a NIC. Then after I booted server for some reason my Win 10 VM did not auto start. After I found what needed to be deleted from the the XML view. I was able to start the VM but then got a bunch of warning messages about drives in the array. (I don't remember exactly what it said) Now about four drives were showing as missing and I could not access any of my shares. After I rebooted the server two of the drives came back but two are still disabled. One of the drives is one of two parity drives and the other is disk 1. I have run an extended SMART test on disk 1 and it passed with out error. I have attached the SMART report as well as the Diagnostic report. Its possibly the two drives just failed. Its just odd that four drives reported having issues at the same time and then after a reboot two of them are no longer missing. This is my first major issue with the array since I built the server and I'm a bit lost. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks! unraid-smart-20220723-1400.zip unraid-diagnostics-20220723-1401.zip
  10. Perfect. Thanks! Just what I was looking for. I just couldn't find the right combo of keywords to search.
  11. If a drive dies and I'm not able to recovery from parity. Is there a way track which files where located of which drives? So I know what needs to be recovered from my backup. Thanks.
  12. That sounds like a good plan. I'll run a extended SMART test on my old drives and only pre clear the new drives. **Unless anyone else advises against it.** I think I'll hold off on using my SAS2LP-MV8 and avoid any unnecessary issues during the initial setup. The MB I'm using has 8 SATA ports. So I should be able to get away with just using eight drives to start. If I find I'm needing more space, I'll consider trying my SAS2LP-MV8 once 6.9 is out of Beta. Thanks for your help!
  13. Ok, so I have three 4TB drives with no data. Two 4TB with data and four 2TB drives with data. If I understand what you are saying, whether I start with one parity drive or two parity drives it makes no difference. Adding all the data drives first, then adding the parity drives last would be fastest method for creating my array and migrating my data? Even though I will be preclearing my drives before they are added to the array, should a drive fail after it gets added to the array there is still a small chance of loosing all my data on the drives that are already in the array? (with no parity drive) Or just the data from the failed drive? Does my method for migrating my data sound correct? (see previous post) Thanks!
