Seeing that binhex-plex is made for unraid, I have no high hopes for my question, but I think it is nevertheless worth asking.

For 2 weeks now, binhex-plex does not start on my Synology Diskstation anymore, because it uses kernel 3.10.105. Log says "unsupported kernel", which sucks. I stayed on the previous version for a while before grabbing the official plex docker, which also produces satisfactory results.

However: I am also using binhex-delugevpn and binhex-sabnzbd and I am fearful that if I update these, they will fail with the same error since my kernel is outdated (and I have no way of updating it). Now I wonder if there is any workaround for this, so I can keep using these 2 amazing dockers?

Have you tried going back to the old version that was working before?  You can see all the releases here so if you remember which one you were on before when it was working you can go back to that version. So lets say that version 1.21.3.4046-1-01 was the last version that worked with your kernel if you open your container settings you would just put the version you want. If your Synology allows that of course.

  2. I've been searching for an answer as to why I am getting these warnings. They started cropping up today but I can't pinpoint what cause the utilization to go up. I honestly would not be able to tell you what it was the last few days as it's something I never paid attention to. The only thing different that I did today was install Calibre and Calibre-Web. There are only a handful of e-books in the library as well. I know there has been mention of some download clients holding on to data but my cache drive is pretty much empty.  I store my Appdata and download folders on the cache pool.

Is there a way to find out which docker is taking up all the space or causing this issue?

I found the container size button and this is what I pull up ... is it normal for onlyoffice to be 2.77gb and Krusader to be 1.92gb ??

    Hi Binhex,

thanks for all your work, just a quick question regarding qBittorrent vpn running on UNRAID, since I had to change the internal IP range I am struggling to get to the Webinterface when the vpn is enabled.

The closest I got to resolve this matter is in an openVPN forum stating that there is an issue in the iptables.sh file and export LOCALIP="192.168.1.0/24" is not correctly set.

Still relatively new to docker and am not sure how to resolve the issue. The Container Variable: LAN_NETWORK is set to 192.168.1.0/24.

This was working flawlessly before on my old IP range and I am unsure where things are going wrong atm.

With the VPN switched off I can get to the Webinterface just fine and have to assume that the vpn split tunnel for the access of the LAN is the issue?

Any idea? Are you able to point me into the right direction?

    Thanks

What is your internal IP Network set to? Because it's supposed to match to what you are using. So if you are not using 192.168.1.0/24 then it's not going to work.

It's the one right below where it says pia ... the VPN Client is what you are going to change from OPENVPN to Wireguard. You are going to get speeds way faster speeds on wireguard then on OPENVPN. But like I said you are going to want to test different endpoints as well to see which one is going to be the fastest one for you! :)

@SavagelyCalm I have the same problem.   Edit your Docker repository link to this "binhex/arch-sonarr:v3" and it'll re-download a working version.  Worked for me.

This fixed my issue with Sonarr ... I didn't know that there was a V3 for BinHex. Doe anyone know how to change the icon? 😂

Not using wireguard. Using France nextgen but recently it's gone so slow.

Looks like I will need to figure out how to switch to wireguard

It's super EASY ... go to the container settings and edit where it says OPENVPN to Wireguard. You will see a new folder called WireGaurd in the docker folder. Inside you are going to see a wg0 config file open it and add the endpoint you want to use then just save the file and restart the docker.

make sure you add the :1337 at the end

    image.png.218a60f77a1caa51085208af7ee5354b.png

I would install the speedtest CLI in the container and test diff endpoints to see which one is going to be the best for you

open the terminal window from the docker and run the following

    pacman -S speedtest-cli

and then just run speedtest-cli from the prompt to check your speeds.

    Thanks :)

do you have Radarr trying to connect to SAB over SSL? I believe 8080 is not the SSL port ... this is how mine is ... removed my API key for picture purposes. But make sure you have your SAB API in there.

8081 is the regular port I assigned because 8080 was being used by one of my other dockers.

Are you using Wireguard? I use to get really slow normal like speeds and every since I switched to Wireguard my speeds are above 50+mbps on torrents.  I am using the Vancouver Endpoint as well it seems to be the fastest. I tested all the Canada and Mexico endpoints :) I am on the WestCoast so whichever one is closer to you might be faster.

Just as and FYI on this system.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x / Asrock B450 ITX / Nvidia Quadro P2000 its been about 24 hours since I installed the card back into the system. I disabled C-States in the BIOS, I am running the card with the SMI instance as mentioned above and the card has not fallen off the bus like it was doing before. I am going to let it run through the weekend and if by Monday it has not fallen off the bus I will go ahead and re-configure PLEX to use the card and put it under load with a transcode to see if still stays stable.

I am on Driver version 460.56

  11. Hey Fellas

I need some help trying to figure out why this issue cropped up with Sonarr. First let me start off by saying that everything has been working correctly. I use a combination of Binhex Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrentVPN, and sabnzb.

So the logs are showing this which by now WE ALL know has to do with drive mappings being "incorrect"

    image.png.fab4bea5dd68137c4dd13efdd7ba5b11.png

As we can see the files in question have all downloaded

    image.thumb.png.06a76a53d5c736fa53156704a23b6b7c.png

qBittorrent points to the following ... but we are going to come back to this because I noticed something here.

    image.png.eb38341c195486aab97d5d7e7dc031d8.png

This is the locations for SabNZB

    image.png.8fd4ce08408ed6525236ba933d220dbe.png

If we look inside the folder you will see the files

    image.png.6852ec188dca42a464c4204e1e7c1aae.png

And here are the drive mappings for all the dockers ... they are exactly the same across the board. And like I said this was ALL WORKING up until today. I don't touch this stuff as I like to set it and forget it.

    image.thumb.png.47b77687d8c05132454d3b04644f1201.png

Now I HAD this same issue when I first installed Sonarr on this new server a couple of weeks ago. If you look at the pictures above in qBittorrent you will see that the folders have a wack " / " at the end, I had to remove the last wack " / "  in order to get Sonarr to work the first time around, but this time I can't remove that wack anymore. Everytime I do it comes back when I go check it. This is the only difference between the working SAB and the no longer working qBit

I am sure you guys are absolutely tired of seeing these questions. Like I said I had this all working and today for some odd reason it stopped.

Here is the last successful download from qBittorrent which was yesterday

(I am blessed with extremely fast download speeds) The episode transferred to plex with no issues. If we take a look at the logs a little further back (Friday evening) you will see a few episodes were grabbed by qBittorrent as well

There was no docker updates, no server reboot, as I said I like to get things running and then leave it alone as I find that when you tinker with shit you end up breaking shit! So any insight you guys may have or if you see something that I miss let me know. This one has me stumped today.

Thank you for the frequent updates. :)

If this is the solution to this problem I'll be very thankfull! :)

Are the warnings from the syslog gone or they still in there?

I also got another user on the German subforums that has a similar problem with a Asrock Taichi X570, I'm not sure if it's related to Asrock or newer AMD systems in general.

All the warnings in the syslog are gone. Hopefully it stays stable for the next few days and I can get back to using it. :)

Yes it does, I just quoted from it: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-swag/blob/master/README.md

Just put all your extra domians in EXTRA_DOMAINS as it says. If you want mote info: Use google with the "site" argument as I have done for you here

Ohhh shit my bad bro hahahaha for some reason I thought I was on the CloudFlare-DDNS thread where I was asking about updating another domain with the same container 😂😂 But yes you are right. I did find where to add the extra domains for SWAG. I am working on trying to figure out the extra parameters for the NGINX cofig file now.

Sorry about the confusion that is totally my fault! 😅

Have you looked at the readme at github? I think it's mentioned somewhere else too and certainly in this thread. From the readme:

I did read the read me but it does not really mention anything about using a second domain or "-e EXTRA_DOMAINS" the only about multiple domains I see is this. Nothing about using a whole other domain. Just subdomains.

  16. @Roxedus hey I do have one more question in regards to using CloudFlare-DDNS I am about to register another domain name. Basically what I am trying to do is run 2 sites in my NGINX setup. Can I add an extra domain in the container domain variable like this? or do I have run another instance of CloudFlare-DDNS?

Both domains are registered with CloudFlare so I have access to the DNS for both sites.

  17. Hey guys,

I had a question in regards to SWAG and using multiple domains and multiple sites with NGINX. I am still new to all this stuff so i am still learning as I go. I have SWAG setup with my personal domain and I have my subdomains setup for Nexcloud/OnlyOffice. This is all currently working with no issues. I also have my own personal site hosted on the Nginx side of SWAG.

My question is that I have seen that NGINX can run multiple domains but I am unsure if we can do that here in SWAG. I can't find anything in the documentation in regards to multiple domains. I'd like to setup my business domain and website. If anyone has any insight on how I can accomplish this with SWAG that would be very helpful.

IWhat system exactly? Intel or AMD?

That was my old Intel system that is on Windos10. I can try and throw it in my new AMD system this weekend to make sure it works on that with no issues.

I think this has something to do with the AMD Platform since I only got now a few reports that it doesn't work on AMD Systems.

    Have to analyze this further.

It could possibly be that this is only a small setting in the BIOS or solved with a BIOS update...

I have the latest Bios for my motherboard installed.

Can you take a few pictures of the BIOS especially for the PCIe Bus and set it to me via PM (eventually you find something about BAR and a setting that says Above 4G Decoding)?

Yeah I can do that once I get back to the house later this evening.

    Define this

I could no longer access my nextcloud.domain.com page ... it would just time out ... after looking at the SWAG documentation they recommend to turn off proxy when using CloudFlare

    Quote

On Cloudflare, we'll click on the orange cloud to turn it grey so that it is dns only and not cached/proxied by Cloudflare, which would add more complexities.

I haven't tried going to back to the proxy setup to see if it breaks again. But right now with proxy turned off everything is working correctly.

Please try it in a desktop PC and install the drivers...

Installed the card on my spare PC and loaded up the latest drivers and it worked like normal, no issues. Let it run for 24 hours and even installed plex and setup HW transcoding. Ran like a champ with a 4K movie in repeat mode

Eventually it's some kind of hardware combination that won't work. Have you looked also at your C-States in your BIOS? I have something in my head that there where problems with the "older" Ryzen and the C-States.

I threw the card back into my UnRaid server, but before I did that I did go into the BIOS and disabled C-States. I installed the latest version of your Nvidia Driver plug-in and I also installed GPU Statistics.

One thing that caught my eye was that my GPU power state was at P0 and I my fan power was at 90%

I was also getting a TON of these warnings in my log ... like every 2 seconds

kernel: caller _nv000908rm+0x1bf/0x1f0 [nvidia] mapping multiple BARs

kernel: resource sanity check: requesting [mem 0x000c0000-0x000fffff], which spans more than PCI Bus 0000:00 [mem 0x000c0000-0x000dffff window]

Mind you that at this point I have only installed both plug-ins. I have not configured Plex for HW transcoding or anything like that. This is just the card installed with the drivers on the system. Nothing else. I don't use VMs so there is no passthrough or anything like that.

After doing some digging around for those errors I came across someone in the GPU Statistics thread that was having the same issue. The only way he was able to get the card to settle down and stop logging those warning was by running

    nvidia-smi --persistence-mode=1

Once I did this the card backed down the fans to about 45% and the power draw was down to 7w from 28w and now the power state reads p8

    image.png.4c46200feb7787b6956cb5a509d190f0.png

The card has been sitting in my system now for a little over an hour and it has not fallen off the bus like it was before. So I am going to just let it hang out for the next day or two and see what it does.

  21. Hey Guys,

I am hoping someone here can provide me with some guidance on an issue I am having. I installed the CloudFlare-DDNS docker because I didn't want to continue using No-IP, having to verify my account like twice a month was getting annoying.

My domain is registered with GoDaddy. I don't have an actual web page so GoDaddy had my A and WWW record pointing to one of their Parked IPs. But I had created a few CNAME records for my subdomains (NextCloud, OnlyOffice, and Remote) that pointed to mydoamin.ddns.net from No-IP.  This was all working correctly with SWAG (I upgraded from LetsEncrypt)

I found IBRACORPS YouTube Video on the CloudFlare-DDNS and figured I would give it a try since it sounded like a nice solution and I no longer would need to deal with No-IP :)

I went ahead and created an account on CloudFlare and moved my DNS from GoDaddy to CloudFlare. I made sure that everything was pointing in the right direction and that my CNAMEs were still in place. I removed the old A record, and the www record that were holdovers from GoDaddy just like the video said to to.

I went ahead and installed the CloudFlare-DDNS docker and configured it with my email, API key, and domain zone, I left subdomains empty because my subdomains are using CNAMES that point to my domain address. And I left CloudFlare proxied to true. Once the docker downloaded and ran I checked the Cloudflare DNS page and I was able to see the updated IP address in a new A record. I verified that the IP was indeed my assigned IP which is was.

At this point I lost connection to NextCloud, OnlyOffice, and Remote subdomains. I restart SWAG and the corresponding Docker Apps as well just in case. After about 20 minutes I noticed that if I did an NSLookup the domain and subdomains were pointing to CloudFlare IPs, not the direct IP but what I can only assume are the proxy IPs. I couldn't get any of my sites to come up correctly. The only way I could get my sites to come up where if I disabled the Proxy feature on the CloudFlare DNS page and Docker. Once I did this and waited a few minutes I was able to pull up my applications with no issues.

So I am not sure what is up with that. Sucks I can't use the proxy feature. But if anyone has any ideas as to why its doing that please let me know. Sorry for the long post, but I hope this makes sense.

Have you made sure that the array is set to autostart under Settings -> Disk Settings

That was is it right there 😄 such a noob! Thanks for the tip I had auto start set to disabled. I went ahead and enabled the auto start and we are good to go! 👍

Did you create the keyfile from windows or from the console?  (unix file type is required)

Not sure if anyone can confirm whether or not a symlink can be used with a keyfile? You should eliminate any potential problem by just copying the file to /root

Ultimately I was experiencing a number of problems with autostarting the array and ended up just using echo -n "key" > /root/keyfile in my go file... before I decrypted all my drives again because the encryption was a pain in the arse.

I created the keyfile in my atom editor on my Windows machine. I didn't add any extention to the filename. I Just named it 'keyfile' and dropped into the config folder in the usb, and added the line to the Go file. Ultimately I am going to set this up using ftp and drop the keyfile somwhere else.
