Hi guys everytime i reboot my server i lost my theme.

I'm force to delete the plugin and reinstalled because it does not allow me to modify any theme.

    Any ideas ?

    thx

ive had this problem forever now and still dont know why it is doing that.  is there a way to fix it so it remembers the theme i set after a reboot?

Hey! Yes, i do refresh and it'll be green for a split second before going red again.

I have this exact same issue as well.  Not sure what happened.  Im running 6.12.8.

  3. The plugin just stopped working.  I made zero changes to it (as it is pretty much a plug-in).  Has anyone else had this happen?  Its almost as if it doesnt know it is supposed to group the icons now.  Very strange.

I just replaced it with a backup and its fine now.  so something changed, I just dont know what.  No need to reply unless someone knows what happened with an update or something.

Such is the nature of a community-driven plugin ecosystem. Which isn't unique to unRAID. unRAID didn't create the old plugin or this one, so there would be no warning from them. The development for the old plugin died and I'm glad @scolcipitato created this one. He's very responsive and helpful in the development and improvement of it.

Can you elaborate on what isn't working for you? We'll be glad to try to help you with it.

I think most of us have FolderView working just as well or better than Docker Folders at this point.

There is nothing to elaborate.  I have it working fine and admittedly, it is a very nice replacement.  I have everything as it should be and it was very easy to do so.  I even used the svg icons from the former plugin as well.  The plugins documentation was all I needed to get it to work as expected and it is also intuitively configured 'out of the box' to where I had minimal issues with configuring anything extra that I wanted.

You are 100% right that unraid, nor the maintainers of this plugin have anything to do with docker folders deprecation and it wouldn't matter anyway.  Complaining about free software from people that work hard to provide anything beneficial is not the best use of ones time to say the least.  It was late, I was tired and just hated checking "one last thing real quick" only to find i needed to "fix" yet another problem from doing nothing more than well.... nothing.  It still surprises me that you can literally do nothing and break your install for [insert linux distro here].  Thats just how linux is.  It's by design and I totally get it.

That being said, I would just like to thank all here that have made this new plugin possible and also offer my sincere apologies for my momentary lapse in logical thought.  TL:DR  My bad lol

It will need further refinement on my end to work for me, but I was able to do this in less than 15 minutes having never used this plugin before.  Well done on the ease of use!

  5. this isnt working at all for me..  6.12.3 user and the original plugin was janked out and I was forced to move to this if i want similar functionality, which there was ZERO warning for....

just another reason to leave unraid.  i cannot express how bad this pisses me off without being banned from this forum.

Also worth noting mealie is close to an official 1.0 release. The rc1 is on github,(not docker hub) but I plan to wait before updating any templates as I want to avoid breaking changes everything seems to still be working well right now.

I will probably not add this to the main post, but I want to mention postgres for mealie is great and simple. There is "fuzzy" search implemented in postgres but not sqlite. Anyone can simply add the Docker Variables from the official documentation.

Simply export a backup when running sqlite, and you can restore that after switching to postgres.

I just looked on github and found v1.0.0beta-RC1.  is that the same one you are talking about?  the fuzzy search is for recipes already in mealie, correct?

  7. Thank you for continuing this project!  I was looking on github and happened to notice what I had been using had not been updated in over a year lol - It took me a minute to figure out what was going on with mealie but after I thought to look in unraid CA, I was able to get this working easily by reading and any questions I had were already addressed here.  It was also super easy to get it set up as well.

This is definitely a very minor issue, but I was wondering if there are plans to restore the icon for mealie?  It looks like the link for it has been removed/moved.  Thanks again!

  8. [EDIT]  I was able to correct this by simply replacing the old datastore.cfg in place of the new one.

I had a weird 403 error in the webui for this container and couldn't solve it.  I redownloaded the container and have it running again, but it says it can't write a chunks directory.  How do I add an existing datastore I guess is my question.  Many thanks for any help

    [NEW]

If anyone has this running with nginx, I could use a sample conf file.  I have been trying today with little success.

  9. I havent used codeserver for a few months, and now I am greeted with a websocket 1006 error.

did I miss a memo about this?  lol there is a lot of talk about it online, but none of the "solutions" have worked for me.

I use swag and CF tunnels as well.  I am hoping this is a simple fix and that I just missed something due to my being complacent when I get busy with work.

    [EDIT]

Apologies, this is an LSIO container.  may or may not be relevant

    Hello,

Sorry, I didn't see your message. I don't have a fiber connection at the moment. So I don't necessarily see the notifications.

Unfortunately, this option does not exist. This could be something to integrate.
I was supposed to make some changes last week, but I didn't have time.
I will try to make a new version with more personal elements.

I will see to set up a list so that users can suggest improvements or even new things to implement.

    Have a nice day.

Thank you.  I look forward to seeing this.  I would be able to make good use of it.

    What do you have?

Its a long list, but the main items for the unraid server is  PRIME X399-A Mobo, 64GB DDR4 RAM, Threadripper 2950X, Quadro p2000, &  Samsung 980 1TB NVME for appdata + Samsung 970 EVO 500GB for plex appdata by itself.  Network is all unifi - UDM Pro, 24 port switch, 48 port PoE Pro layer 3 switch, all cat 6a & 7 cabling.  There is a ton more, but thats thats the meat & potatoes.  While there are far better servers here, this is not one that should have this issue.  Especially the docker page.

The Plugins page takes a few seconds to check for updates, and the Apps page has to get content from the internet. Other than that, all other pages load instantly for me.

It takes more than a few seconds for me usually, but I understand your point.

  12. load up plugins or the docker page...  heck even load up the dashboard.  also define snappy.  within a second?  I have to wait upwards of between 5-10 seconds sometimes..  Now I realize this does not sound like a lot and usually it isnt, but if you are bouncing around and have to wait on this over and over..  its beyond maddening.

No need to record anything.  I believe its snappy for you, but with the hardware and network I have, it should also be snappy...

  13. I like the functionality of the `LAN/WAN` option very much and think it is definitely something that is needed, however I use cloudflare subdomains with nginx and authelia for both LAN and WAN.  How do I set this up so that `LAN` points to `subdomain.domain.one` and `WAN` points to `subdomain.domain.two`?  I do not ever need it to point to `IP:PORT` - even for the unraid server.

Currently it just adds the entire sub.domain.com:port for every container lol

    Thanks for any help

Do your run a cache drive/pool?  If not, and your disks are spinning down, that might be the reason you are seeing this.  If some data needs to be pulled from disk to update the UI, you are going to be waiting for a spin-up.  I have run a cache pool ever since I first built my Unraid server a number of years ago and I've never experienced a sluggish web UI.

I have 2 cache drives.  Both NVME.  One for Plex by itself and the other for the rest of my appdata.  That is definitely not the issue to my knowledge

Thank you for the reply, but you not experiencing any lag at all is dubious, but I can't prove you wrong.  Are you running the webUI on the actual server?

  15. Is there any way to improve the load times of the unraid webui?  I have used unraid for years and have never really been happy with the sluggish nature of the interface.   I realize this is not a bug - that I know of.

Im not asking for a miracle here or anything of the sort. I am just hoping that someone might have found a way to get the webUI to perform better.  I am sure a lot of us have had the issue with waiting an inordinate amount of time to get it to load even when unraid is running just fine.  I am not talking about when there are issues, a container starting, processes processing, lightning hit, the world exploding, etc...  Maybe there is a better way to interact with the UI for unraid than using a browser per se?  If there is, please let me know.

To recap or TL/DR;  In general, is there anything I can do to improve performance/responsiveness in my browser/aternative access method to have a better UX?  SSH and CLI are fine, so that doesnt need to be an answer :P

  16. I am getting an error for grafana in the logs showing a userId=0

I dont have a user 0, I do have user 1, 2, and 3 though.  Here is the error message I am getting spammed with.  There is no username assiciated with it that i see either.

    Quote

    logger=context traceID=00000000000000000000000000000000 userId=0 orgId=1 uname= t=2022-09-14T14:13:12.293090603-04:00 level=error msg="Error from access control system" error="no resolver found"

    I am using unraid 6.10.3

I dont understand this error message.  What can I do to correct it?   What is userId=0?  Thank you.

I also have this container installed, and under installed apps, it is there, but when I look for this container in CA, it says it isnt installed.  Just something else strange going on that I noticed.

    That worked perfectly, thanks.

For the benefit of anyone else with the same issue, changing version to "5" as demonstrated by @danktankk allowed mongoDB to run, and therefore get terminal access.

from there, to access the database I ran:

    mongosh

then, to verify the current featureCompatibilityVersion I ran:

    db.adminCommand( { getParameter: 1, featureCompatibilityVersion: 1 } )

then, to set the featureCompatibilityVersion to 5 I ran:

    db.adminCommand( { setFeatureCompatibilityVersion: "5.0" } )

Once that was completed, I was able to revert back to "latest" for the MongoDB repository and it's happily humming on 6.0.1 now

I did something similar, again with help from @halienelf

    docker exec -it mongo mongo
    db.adminCommand( { setFeatureCompatibilityVersion: "5.0" } )
    exit

    works fine.

EDIT: fwiw, if your container is named something different than mongo, then chg the first mongo to match the container name.
