I don't use Firefox at all unless I use the built-in Firefox in unraid gui. But for day to day use, I just boot up to the cli login and VPN to it.
At any rate, it was just a suggestion that I found worked for me and wanted to share. Whatever works for you is good too!

Maybe ask around about that as it was literally one click and a reboot. Then I did have to go back in and reconfigure Plex to place nice with my Nvidia quadro.

For those of us that upgraded without first considering we would lose transcoding, all you have to do is downgrade back to 6.8.0. Literally takes 30 seconds and a reboot. Just go to Tools/UpdateOS and go from there.
Worked for me.

oh well, ill just use nextcloud by itself without an ftp server. for me, its too complicated to get this to write to the cache and then move it to the appropriate share. thanks anyway.

I have the path that I write to already in a share i.e. I am writing to a folder in nextcloud. Nextcloud is in the data folder which is a share. So Im not sure what I am doing wrong. Yes, total n00b. lol

I would like to setup ProFTPd to write to my cache drive and then invoke the mover at night so i can enjoy the benefit of faster xfer speeds. That, along with SFTP or FTPS would be awesome but mainly, for now, writing to the cache drive would be great.
What is the best way to approach this? I have already installed and tested the server using flashFXP (windows) and it does write (slowly) to the array.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I goofed up and updated to 6.8.1 without first looking to see if this was updated as well. Ill be more cautious in the future for sure!

There is no Rescan button anywhere on this page but it has a help dropdown right underneath 'Array fan speed:'.
So, is there a way to completely uninstall this to somehow reset it or what should I do? I want to use the it87 driver or something that comes at least close to correct temps for me. Any help is very much appreciated as I have burned up most of my morning tinkering with this lol

Or, maybe the manufacturer will fix this. Bottom line is this controller is ubiquitous and there needs to be another alternative other than "throw more money at it."

I already have 2 nvme drives and both have this contoller. I was told by @spaceinvaderone there is a way to pass it through using the 'device id' but he hasnt answered yet to explain exactly how to do that.
The fact that there was a fix and now there just isnt is beyond irritating.

So i assume since noone has replied to this, that the error is gone? Is this now working and I missed how to do it? I am using UnRaid 6.8.0 and I get the same error as everyone else.
Please tell there is a way to fix this now.

Hello all,
I am using Unraid 6.8.0
I have been trying for weeks to get my barebone windows server 2016 OS install to work as a VM off of my unassigned NVMe drive. (also using unassigned drives plugin). When I start the VM, this is the error I see.
I have already watched videos on how to do VM's and passing through an NVMe drive with no luck. Per the instructions given, I used these 2 settings in VM settings:
The syslinux config has this:
pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 vfio-pci.ids=c0a9:2263and system devices does show the controller to be separate (although i do understand that may not necessarily be the actual case).
IOMMU group 26:[c0a9:2263] 09:00.0 Non-Volatile memory controller: Micron/Crucial Technology P1 NVMe PCIe SSD (rev 03)I have 2 NVMe drive. One for VM's, and one for cache.
Please help lol --Im not sure what else to do

I love the ease with which one can add new drives to the array.
I would like for there to be ANY other native alternative to using a flash drive.

Hello,
Am I missing something as I do not see my Nvidia quadro p2000 card in the IOMMU list even though Unraid Nvidia works with no issues and transcodes for plex.
I do have HVM and IOMMU enabled.
I wanted to pass this through to a VM and I did do a search first, but the thread is 60 pages long so i do apologize if I missed something blatantly obvious.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Ive gone through about three different flash drives and none of them have been accesible using Krusader. At this point I am heavily betting against myself and thinking user error.

When I installed the FileBot container, everything appeared to go fine. However, I have no GUI option and there is no way to edit the container. The icon for filebot doent show up either. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? Many thanks!

Hello all, first post and a new owner of unraid!
I was watching a video by spaceinvaderone for "How to dual boot baremetal windows and unRAID then boot the same windows as a vm" and for whatever reason, I am unable to get this NVMe drive to passthrough without this error for adding an NVMe drive that already has windows installed:

I followed the tutorial to the letter, but am getting this error. I really need this VM as it has most of the stuff I want to migrate over and would make it much easier.
In addition:
I have 2 NVMe drives, one has the OS and one is a cache drive. These are both on the same controller. Im not sure if that is the source of my problem, but I feel like it is.

thanks @tasmith88, but at this point i have deleted the temp app and dont plan on using it anymore until there is better support for it. None of these apps actually read the true temps anyway.. Its all wonderment and space dust with arbitrary offsets. Its not even a best guess, its just a guess.
