Flexbomb
Hi, I recently added enabled Pi-Hole from the docker container and now it seems like my docker containers cannot talk to the community applications? Before I enabled it everything worked and all the applications could update themselves and now it seems like I may have some settings in Pi-Hole wrong? I tried to whitelist raw.githubusercontent.com but am I doing it wrong? Edited December 18, 2020 by Flexbomb uploading more photos Quote Link to comment
Squid
Not that I run piHole, but there is zero reason to use it as the dns for your server itself. There are no ads or anything within Unraid, so for best results point Unraid's dns to a public dns server. But on the whitelist, you would also have to whitelist index.docker.io and index-1.docker.io, registry.docker.io, registry-1.docker.io and possibly others. Quote Link to comment
Flexbomb
That did the trick. Thanks @Squid pointed the unraid DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 Bye bye ads. Quote Link to comment
