sota
either: they've changed the krusader docker, or I changed mine. regardless, stop the conainer, edit 'Host Path 2" to say '/mnt' only. then start the container, and hit the webGUI. you'll find the 'media' folder to have everything in it. Waffle
Great, I can see 'disk#' ! However when I go into 'disks' it only has one drive and not the 11 that i have "unassigned". Thank you again for helping with this. I seem to always have the weirdest issues when I try to do thing. Quote Link to comment
Waffle
so, i decided to start the transfer anyway and i would just watch the drives to see what one was getting full. Well it turns out they were ALL getting full. It seems they are all running as copies of each other. It is looking like it might just be faster to start the array over and move the files. If I dont have a parity drive then will it copy faster? Then add the parity drives after? Quote Link to comment
sota
When you click the + box under each of the drives, what does the partition label say? Quote Link to comment
sota
and man, at this point, I wish I could remote in and help you. you got some serious weirdness going on. Quote Link to comment
Waffle
Ok so, I hate to be anti climatic but I just ended up redoing the whole thing with the correct drives in place. (Currently with no parity until the ~50TB is finished moving then I will add them) and its already moving at 200+ MB/s this will only take a few days and I can remove the old/bad/sus drives out and send them back. Thank you sincerely for everyone who had input on this, it was a learning and humbling experience. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
7 hours ago, Waffle said: Here is the information you requested. I looked in the '/media' folder and did not see the drives in their as well. Included is a picture of that folder. With that mapping for /media you will only see the User Share level view of your files - not the physical drives view. Quote Link to comment
sota
tangential, but i wonder why mine is listed as 'HostMedia' and his as 'Media', and was that mapping once '/mnt' versus his '/mnt/user' at initial install, or did I change mine at some point and note it or remember doing it?
