NishDJ
Hello, I have 3 computers at home - my main gaming rig, my MacBook Pro, and an old gaming laptop with a broken keyboard and slightly functional screen. 1) Is it possible to connect the old gaming laptop to the network so that I can access it from my MacBook and play games on it (using the old gaming computer's graphics card etc...?). 2) Could I also use it to store files on the network/as a web server? Which product would solve the above? Thank you very much for taking the time to read, and thanks for the help. P.S. Sorry if something I say doesn't make sense, I'm a beginner to networking. Hello, My old gaming laptop is a 2016 GS73VR 6RF --> GTX 1060, 16gb memory, core i7 6 gen, 256 ssd boot, 1tb hdd storage. Would that work or not powerful enough? Quote Link to comment
trurl
Laptops are not a good platform for Unraid. Even though you have posted to the Unraid forum, I'm not sure you know what Unraid is. Do you know anything about Unraid? Quote Link to comment
