Johnster
After 3 days of working just fine, today i found my array stopped all of a sudden. I started it again and everything seems to be fine, but i have no idea what caused this. tower-diagnostics-20210210-1918.zip Edited February 10, 2021 by Johnster Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Looks like the server rebooted, though no unclean shutdown was detected, which is strange. Quote Link to comment
Johnster
And there was no power outage. I checked in other log files just to make sure. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Yes, but last boot was: Feb 10 12:06:10 Tower kernel: Linux version 4.19.107-Unraid (root@Develop) (gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)) #1 SMP Thu Mar 5 13:55:57 PST 2020 So if this is correct: 1 hour ago, Johnster said: After 3 days of working just fine It means it rebooted, possibly a crash or hardware issue. Johnster
It would be interesting if i was able to see what happened before that. Are there some plugin/apps that could help me save more info in case this happens again? Currently i'm only using netdata. Quote Link to comment
Johnster
Something else might have happened at that exact hour. I don't think it's a coincidence my devices and clients started disconnecting around the same time the server rebooted. What's really odd is that if this was indeed a power outage, there was no parity check needed. Edited February 10, 2021 by Johnster Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
If it happens again you can enable the syslog server to see if it catches something. Quote Link to comment
