Nathan Richardson
I had an issue with my server a little while ago that caused some drive errors related to unclean shutdowns. I had two drives show with red X's so I replaced them one at a time. Now the drives show green, but I still have a "Unmountable: No file system" error. Do I need to click the format button to put those drives into service? Just wanted to double check. I did back up the data from the two drives I pulled out so I wasn't too worried as I can put it back if needed. I also attached the diagnostic file. tower-diagnostics-20210302-0855.zip Quote Link to comment
trurl
NEVER format a disk that has data you want to keep. On mobile now will check back later Quote Link to comment
itimpi
@Nathan Richardson handling of unmountable disks is described here in the online documentation accessible via the ‘Manual’ link at the bottom of the unRaid GUI. Quote Link to comment
