Messed up replacing my Cache drive

Recommended Posts

I have a single SSD Cache drive that is a bit small and I wanted to replace with a larger one.

Unfortunately I didn't read all the relevant FAQ's and ended up following this procedure for my single cache drive

How do I replace or upgrade a cache pool disk?

Instead of this one

How do I replace/upgrade my single cache device? (unRAID v6.2 and above only)

The result is a shiny new cache disk with nothing on it...so for anyone wondering, yes I am indeed 'Costanza, Lord of the Idiots'. I did manage to restore my AppData using the CA Appdata backup/restore tool, and also found other posts that helped me get my docker image and containers up and running again.

But I have noticed that the backup of my libvirt.img didn't restore along with my Appdata. TBH I'm not even really sure what this is, but my question is should I be manually placing this back into the system share as it was before?

And also is there anything else I've missed that I need to be doing to make sure everything is as it should be again?
