Waffle
I will freely admit I am no expert. That said, are we sure there is no issue with any of the drive in the array? Unraid only runs as fast as the slowest drive, so if any have bad sectors then that might be an issue. I would start with checking your S.M.A.R.T. data on the drives. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
5TB drives are SMR, still 2MB/s is stupid slow, if you have a spare non SMR disk or SSD add it as cache device and see what speed you get transferring to cache, if still slow do a single stream iperf test. Quote Link to comment
dualbios
So added the cache got full gigabit speed till i filled the cache and now it will only move at 5MBs to the array. Quote Link to comment
dualbios
Should I start from fresh, Run no parity, transfer all my files, then add the parity. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
I would start by disabling parity so you can test each of the array disks. Quote Link to comment
dualbios
Okay will do that now. Do love the fact that when I told it to stop the array it starts writing at 90MBs. Quote Link to comment
