mo679
Hello all, I set up a light Fedora VM just to run Amule in it as it looks like no docker is avaible for it. i gave a vdisk of 30G for the Vm I set up amule just fine and it works, but since the vdisk is just 30 gigs, it fills up. my intention was to run amule in fedora vm and let it download directly to the array or tho cache disk. i mapped in the Vm the disk share but it keep telling i do not have permission to write to the disk. i chmod the directories under fedora with no luck. is there a way to let the Amule write directly to the array? JonathanM
Just use samba in Fedora to connect to the Unraid share normally, just like you would any other computer on the network. Quote Link to comment
mo679
thanks Sir for your reply, I can connect without issues to shares using smb, but I have no right to write to share using Amule. I can obviously write and read from shares with no issues in Fedora itself and can copy files no problem Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Make sure amule is running as the same user that has permissions to write smb. Be aware root has no access to smb shares on Unraid. Quote Link to comment
