SpaceballOne
Apologies if this is the wrong section of the forums, it's a networking question and I wasn't really sure where to put it. So I have my new server up and running, and I'm starting to transfer files on to some of my shares. I noticed the following on my dashboard: This looks as if my network connection is operating at 100Mb/s. This is odd, because the PC that I'm copying from and my Unraid server have an Intel Gigabit adapters. To the best of my knowledge, all of my switches are Gigabit compatible. Most of my cable is Cat6, though there may be a Cat5e hiding out somewhere. Any ideas as to why I'm not getting Gigabit speed? Edited July 29, 2021 by SpaceballOne Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try a different cable/switch/port, while it links at 100Mbits you'll be limited to that. Quote Link to comment
