Plex Server unhealthy and can't access webui

I set up my Plex server a while ago and all was fine. Now it has stooped working, I cant access the webui and in Docker it shows as unhealthy.

I am not 100% sure when this happened, I did recently add a new disk but cant be sure whether Plex stopped working then or at another time.

I am not sure how I should troubleshoot this so any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see the word "unhealthy" in that screenshot so I still don't know what you mean by that.

 

Your diagnostics show disk9 failing though and it needs to be replaced ASAP.

 

Do any of your other disks show SMART warnings on the Dashboard page?

 

You should setup Notifications to alert you immediately by email or other agent as soon as a problem is detected.

 

I would forget about Plex for now until you get disk9 replaced.

Thanks! On the far right in the Uptime column for Plex it says unhealthy. 

You're right need to order a new disk for disk 9!

Never seen that before and don't know what it might be looking at to cause it to display that.

Usually due to long time to startup

restart the Container and perhaps change the restart parameter

Thanks! Tried restarting and it didn't change anything, need to check into restart parameters as not familiar with that yet.

Please post your Plex container log.

Just have to figure out now how to grant read write access.

I did try this command but it just seemed to hang. However my disk 9 finally failed so I have installed a new one and am currently rebuilding the array and will have another go once this is done.

When i run this command , it kind of hangs, get a flashing curser but then nothing happens and doesn't return to the root prompt unless I hit ctrl c. I must be doing something wrong?

How long did you wait ?

I think there might be tons of small files to process, it could take quite some time.

Plex directory has thousands of files so you need to wait for it to finish

You were correct, just needed to be more patient and command executed ok, unfortunately still getting the same error though.

So as I couldn't make any progress I deleted Plex and reinstalled , but very frustrating the new install is giving exactly the same error.

Thanks @trurl, I used a restored the latest backup of my database and it looks like I am back rolling again.

 

I did try a repair based on the YouTube tutorial from Spaceinvader One which didn't do the trick for me.
