Hello, I have setup nextcloud and appdata to use cache as preferred. However, when i look at the free size available is different. It seems like my disk 1 and disk 2 is not included in nextcloud. 

 

 

 

I have set nextcloud to include all disk, but it is not appearing. May I know the which setting am i missing?

Unraid only includes disks on which the folder corresponding to the share exists.  With the Prefer setting you are saying that you want all the files on the cache, so why do you think disk1 and disk2 should be included?

 

Hello @itimpi thank you for pointing out. however, when i set a similar setting for my windows 8 vm share, it include disk 1, disk 2 and disk3.

 

If the share folder exists on other disks (even if it's empty) their space will be included, if you run the mover and everything is moved to cache it will stop being used.

Is your cache drive full (or at the minimum free space limit) ?

Possible that files overflow to the Array.

Hello @ChatNoir my cache drive is almost full previously. Maybe tht is why it spill over to array. Now i have removed the docker with a lot of logs ( which take up most of the space )  and it is running at 8%. 

Maybe it spill over to other disk previously.  Now i understand the reason why it is showing different disk with same setting. 😀

Possibly yes.

 

You should go to Settings and disable VM and Docker services.

Run the Mover.

Once it is finished, check the Share Page.

 

If it is OK, you can then restart the services.
