No array data disks have been assigned!

Featured Replies

Hey !
I'm new to unraid and I don't understand so much ^^
I followed a tutorial and it says to put the disks of my server in certain boxes of the dashboard except that I cannot start the machine.
I get this error : No array data disks have been assigned!I chose version 10 because it is compatible with this plugin :

Thanks ;) !

Screenshot says you have assigned 2 parity disks and no data disks. At least one data disk is required, parity is not required but usually done, parity2 not usually done until you have a larger number of data disks.

Also, at least one of those disks are SSD, not usually put in array.

If you don't intend to have any actual NAS functionality, assign the SSD to cache, the other as disk1. Then your VM/Docker goes on cache.

Spend some more time on SpaceInvader youtube. You need to have a better grasp of Unraid before attempting what you want to do.

And how can I turn my game disc into a data disc?

Unraid must format any disk it will use in the array or pools.
