msaaby
Hi I am a happy Unraid user with some dockers containers running I have run into a problem with some rights on folders/files. The container in question is "homeassistant/home-assistant" and it is running without problems. My problem is that if I want to edit some files (see below marked "root") My user is "martin" (I do have the root password) Is it posible to give my user read/write rights to those folders/files? Solution itimpi Posted March 29, 2022 Solution Share Posted March 29, 2022 Are you running Unraid 6.9.2 or 6.10.0-rc4? If the former I would suggest installing the Config File Editor plugin to edit the files, while if the latter the File Manager plugin will allow this. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Every docker container has its own unique permission requirements. Arbitrarily changing the permissions may impact the ability of the container to run. Recommended either to use what @itimpi has recommended or the command line (nano / vi) Quote Link to comment
