June 28, 20224 yr Hallo, ich habe nach dieser Anleitung versucht eine VM auf Unraid zu übertragen. Dann kommt aber folgende Fehlermeldung. Kann mir hier jemand helfen?
June 28, 20224 yr Community Expert Servus @ralf2201 ich hab direkt die vmdk genommen ohne zu Konvertieren. Konfiguration: Unraid 6.9.2, Machine Q35-5.1, BIOS Seabios, Primary vDisk Bus VirtIO
June 28, 20224 yr Community Expert Hast du die vm mal komplett neu erstellt? Ich hab’s damals wie hier beschrieben gemacht: create a new VM and select the Centos option make sure that the Advanced view is selected (at top right) set the BIOS to use SeaBios Set the primary vdisk to use SATA, Manual mode and then set the path to point to the .vmdk file set the network to a bridged connection (br0 in my case) create the VM Edited June 28, 20224 yr by cz13
June 29, 20224 yr Community Expert Wählst du den Pfad über die GUI aus oder hast du ihn, wie in dem verlinkten Beitrag manuell eingegeben? “You can normally avoid converting the .vmdk file and use it directly as long as you enter the full path to it manually and not via selecting it from the GUI.“
June 29, 20224 yr Author Hab den Pfad manuell eingegeben. Mittlerweile habe ich die vmdk Datei in importiert und dort läuft es. Dann habe ich ein Backup aus Proxmox in Unraid versucht. Dazu gibt es eine Anleitung im Forum. Auch hier die Fehlermeldung wie in meinem ersten Post.
June 30, 20224 yr Author Es geht um dieses Programm. In Vmware Workstation läuft es sofort. In Proxmox läuft es auch ohne Probleme. In Unraid geht es weder als vmdk noch als img Datei. Habe es nach diversen Anleitungen hier i Forum versucht. https://wiki.meteohub.de/wiki/index.php/Images

June 30, 20224 yr Author Danke für den Tip. Gefragt habe ich dort noch nicht. Da das Image unter Vmware läuft vermute ich das Problem doch eher bei Unraid. Das Thema mit dem Alix(x86) zu virtualisieren verstehe ich nicht. Da weiß ich nicht wo anfangen.

Das es unter VMware funktioniert ist ja klar, ist ja ein Image für den VMware Player. das möchtest du jetzt unter Unraid laufen lassen😉 poste doch mal die kompletten Einstellungen deiner VM und die Zugriffsrechte auf die vmdk vielleicht hat hier noch jemand einen Tipp.

July 5, 20223 yr Community Expert Du hast ja das .vmdk zu .img konvertiert, richtig? Probiere mal, es zu .qcow oder .qcow2 zu konvertieren:
