Wardus
I just built a new Unraid server, my first foray into any sort of Linux or media server stuff. I am a complete newbie, and am having some issues. I followed SpaceInvaderOne's video on how to set up rootshares, and thought I had it figured out when my 4tb server showed up as only 6.73gb in file explorer . It has two 128gb cache drives in their own little pool. The files on there are some random STLs and Gcodes for my 3D printers. All drives were bought new. If you need any info on my server to help me with this, please ask and I'll do my best to help out. Thanks! Edit - I just looked at my dashboard and found that my cache, with the same files as seen above, is showing 24.7 gigabytes utilization. ???. My main array is also showing 27.9, even though it doesn't have any files on it when I navigate to file explorer and check. Edited July 27, 2022 by Wardus Quote Link to comment
Squid
You should undo whatever changes you did via the video and instead create the rootshare via Unassigned Devices (Main - Unassigned Devices with the plugin installed) Its the more official method than the manual editing of files etc to do this Quote Link to comment
