potts.mike
Is anyone familiar with these cases? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811121030 Seems like they would be ideal if the hot swap bays are compatible with unraid. Link to comment
potts.mike
I take it that this means no one has used these cases? Link to comment
bubbaQ
Here are some things to think about. While it appears from the images they are SATA cages, it doesn't explicitly say so. Also, are they SATA I or II? 2U cases severely limit your choice of heatsinks and HSFans. They also limit your choice of PSU. The ventilating fans that move air through the case are 80mm... that means loud. Personally, I would not go smaller than 4U so I can use 120mm fans. I have the Hec RA466A00. It is exceptionally well made. No flimsy parts, or rough edges. Paint job is better than most too. Fans are loud, and I put them on my own fan controller and now it is whisper quiet. Link to comment
