SP67
Hello, I am trying to share a couple of seasons of a tv show to a friend. The issue is his internet is quite slow so direct stream is not an option. I've tried sharing a link with nextcloud (via swag reverse proxy), but his internet sometimes drops off and the download stops. He is currently trying to download each chapter individually, praying that the connection is good enough to finish. Changing the internet provider is not an option as he is currently renting. My question is, is there any option better than nextcloud to send the files? Ideally one that is able to resume downloads is something happens. I guess SMB would have the same issue... wgstarks
You could rar the file that way your friend is only downloading small segments and they can unrar once they have downloaded all of them. Here is one example of software to do this but it’s not the only one. https://www.winzip.com/en/learn/file-formats/rar/ Quote Link to comment
