USB Unraid flash drive periodically drops offline need to reboot system

I recently have have experienced a problem with my flash drive "dropping offline", i.e. I can't access the Unraid web gui from my Windows 10 VM. The VM keeps working fine but the shares are unreachable via the network.  Make sure it's using a USB 2.0 port, if the problem persists try with a different flash drive.

I switched the flash drive from a USB 3 port to a USB 2 port.  I didn't even realize it was connected to a USB 3 port.  So far so good.  I have a backup USB flash drive just in case.  Thanks for the reply.
