Lucascoco Posted December 29, 2022 Share Posted December 29, 2022 Hallo und frohe Weihnachten Ich habe meine alten PC umgebaut und eine Sicherung vor mit TrueImage von Acronis gemacht. Mit den alten Teilen werde ich später einen performanten UnRaid Server aufsetzten. Jetzt habe ich leider festgestellt, das mir ein Chrome Addon fehlt und ein Passwort. Besteht die Möglichkeit mit UnRaid eine VM mit dem alten PC aufzusetzen? Danke Gruß Holger Quote Link to comment

Meinat du zb eine Windows XP VM: Ja. Oder meinst du unRAID auf alter Herdware zu booten: Ja. Auf alter Hardware auch virtualisieren: Ja, geht in der Regel auch. Quote Link to comment
Lucascoco Posted December 29, 2022 Author Share Posted December 29, 2022 hi, ich meine mein altes Win11 System als VM in UnRaid zum laufen zu bekommen um dann per VNC drauf und noch die alten Daten abgreifen zu können. Ich habe aber nur eine TrueImage Sicherung davon. Müsste also die VM mit einem Boot Stick von Acronis booten um dann das Image zurück zu spielen. Quote Link to comment

Nur warum macht man überhaupt Backups einer VM mit einem Backup-Tool?! Du musst doch einfach nur die Vdisk Datei kopieren, um ein Backup zu haben. Quote Link to comment
