parzival30
Hi all, I have 2 Unraid servers currently and want to backup the data on "server1" to "server2". Does anyone know of a good way to back it up, something that has compression? I have roughly 150TB of data on "server1" that I want to backup, but want to compress the data like a normal backup would do. Has anyone done anything like this? If so, what is the best way to do it? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Not a direct answer to your question, but what type of data is it? If is mainly media files then they will already be compressed internally so it may be more efficient to not attempt compression during backup. Quote Link to comment

Kilrah
Unless the RAWs are uncompressed (rare) that won't get any significant extra compression. Edited January 12, 2023 by Kilrah Quote Link to comment
