May 24, 20233 yr Hi so got in a mess upgraded my motherboard and found it had less sata ports, so ordered a nvme to replace one of my ssd drives. So I have a 1 Tb cache ssd with app data drive and a 120gb ssd with vm/docker on it and only one spare sata port, any help on how to do this ? Thanks
May 24, 20233 yr Community Expert Which SSD do you want to copy to the NVMe? And what's the current filesystem?
May 25, 20233 yr Author should have said running 6.11.5 Thanks i hope i solved this. i plugged the ssd into a usb port using an adaptor, and using mc moved all the files off it onto the new nvme, changed all the shares to point at this new disk and rebooted the system and it rebuilt parity ( think this was because i deleted the ssd after moving everything over) and everything appears to be working okay. Does this sound okay ? Thanks broxi-diagnostics-20230525-1050.zip Edited May 25, 20233 yr by robti
May 25, 20233 yr Community Expert Parity is unrelated to pools, and diags don't show parity being rebuild or synched, so not sure what you mean.
