Janosch
Hello, today I setup my first unraid, after booting and entering the GUI there is no Network Connection. Unraid says eth0: Interface down. All Configurations (Static/DHCP) are not working, after Unraid finishes booting, the connection gets lost. PXE and Windows can succesfully connect to the Network. NIC: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller BIOS: AMI 5.27 UEFI 2.8; PI 1.7 CPU: Intel N95 Unraid: 6.12.1 Thanks for your help! kirsch-server-diagnostics-20230623-0535.zip Quote Link to comment

Assuming the Nic is working this suggests a problem with either the network cabling or the router. Are sure you have the network cable plugged into the right port and it is properly seated? Janosch
There is a Win 11 installed on the System, the nic with this OS works just fine. The Connection from the device to the router is managed by a switch, could this cause this problem? I tried two different cables and NW Ports and nothing chaged Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted June 23, 2023 Solution Share Posted June 23, 2023 Realtek drivers with Linux are kind of hit and miss, the model you're using usually works, but try with a different NIC if possible, ideally from Intel. Quote Link to comment
Janosch
Thank you JorgeB, i tried a USB 3.0 Hub with a Network Port and that worked. 1 Quote Link to comment
