JHTom
My system keeps shutting down (not cleanly) at certain times. It has happened twice at the end of a Parity Check, and it seems to also happen during some other regular updates or checks. Trouble shooting to date: Updated bios Updated to 6.12.1 Checked all cables and reapplied thermal paste and confirmed cpu fans are operational 24 hour memtest with no issues No issues while watching movies Moved to a different USB stick and ensured it is now plugged into a USB 2.0 port When doing this, I noticed that the amount of data on the drive has certainly grown over the years, but there is still well over 2GB of free space syslog.txt Latest syslog server is attached. Would appreciate any thoughts on what else I can do. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted July 6, 2023 Solution Share Posted July 6, 2023 If you mean like an instant power off it's usually hardware related, trying a different PSU would be a good place to start. Quote Link to comment
JHTom
Thanks for the suggestion. I replaced the PSU with another Seasonic unit and everything has been running smoothly. A tip of the hat to Seasonic as they turned around the RMA within a couple of days. 1 Quote Link to comment
