Hello, since a certain time the Apps tab loading very slow (around 20s) and the check for updates in the docker tab loading forever. Plugin update check works. What can possibly cause it?

There's nothing out of the ordinary logged that I can see, is it the same in safe mode?

Network issues?  Bad Cabling?  

It could be network issues, but plugins update check works? How I can check if it caused by network issues?

You can open a terminal, run top command to check whether CPU is high. I guessed your cpu is very high.

It's normal usage. 

 

Hi guys, did you try to stop docker service and check this issue again ?

 

I found docker service on unraid is very unstable. I have meet many problems about unraid docker service. 

 

I highly recommand you install VM which run docker on it rather than unraid self.

Yes already done this. Also tested with safe mode.

How so?  TBH if you're finding the docker subsystem to be unstable you're the exception rather than the rule and is most likely to be hardware issues.

Hi, I create the twoo cases. one is in bug report, the other is in this section. I also uploaded my complete docker configuration and diag files.

In bug report section, the system told me the bug resolved in my current version(6.12.4).  why I have met the high cpu yet ? 

 

There is no any response with the other case which I uploaded many files.

If I check for updates, the DockerUpdate.php fails with a 500 error.

Does nobody have a solution?

I would try with a stock install, that will confirm if the issue is /config related.

How I should do that? I understand that I should install a new Unraid image on the stick. But which files I should save, so that nothing gets broken?

All your settings (and licence) are in the 'config' folder on the flash drive so save that first.

You can also try with a different flash drive.

At that point there will be nothing assigned so Unraid will not touch the drives. 

But if no hard disc configuration is selected, the array will not run. And therefore neither will the Docker. Or am I misunderstanding this? And so I can't even check whether the Docker update service is working.

As I understood it the purpose of this test was to see if the tabs are slow in a clean install?

The slow apps tab randomly disappeared after an Unraid update, but the DockerUpdate check still does not work. For this I have opened a new topic but forgot to close the old one.

 

You also posted in this thread about the update problem first, hence why I locked the other one, but if the problem now is only the update, it may still be worth trying to redo the flash drive, but first try Try changing your DNS server to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 instead of using your router.  Settings - Network Settings 

I use Cloudflare DNS. But when I redo the flash drive what is about this problem?
