[HELP] Putting disks back to normal again

Recommended Posts

At first there was 2 disks with problems, I fixed the one with the repair and rebuild.

Right now I have data in this disk (recovered too) and I need to add the data to the array but I don't have sufficient free space to allocate that whole data unless I add the disk to the array.

Basically, what's the best way to copy the data onto the array, assuming that I don't have enough free space right now. After the copy I'll add this disk to the array

This will format the unmountable disk1 (check next to the format button that only this disk is listed to be formatted), since the emulated disk1 is unmoutable, and xfs_repair cannot repair it, and you have the data in the old disk, it may be a good option, it will only format that disk so you have enough space to copy the data back, of course the array will be unprotected until that disk is replaced.

It's supposed to appear something there, but it isn't.

That's normal since it's just the emulated disk.

Also, the disk is repaired, but unraid can't detect it as a disk used before, it recognizes as a new disk into the array

I don't understand what you mean, and since you don't seem to fully understand how Unraid works with emulated disks, best you find another place to copy the data, I'm afraid of misunderstanding something you are trying to tell me and give the wrong advice.
