DigitalDivide
I just rebuit a new server and now can't boot from my Unraid USB. The server either boots to Start PXE over IPv4 to back to the BIOS. I tried enabling Legacy USB support, tried selectiing various options. The boot order shows my sandisk for 1 and all others disabled... Just not sure what I'm missing. I have an ASROCK Z690 Steel Legend Motherboard Quote Link to comment

Do you have the EFI folder on the flash drive with no trailing additional character? That is required if you want UEFI booting to work. Quote Link to comment

Solution DigitalDivide Posted December 12, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted December 12, 2023 I took out the cmos batter for 5min and was able to get the BIOS to see my keyboard. The Bios shows boot 1 now from my unraid usb flash. I rebooted and still it boots to the BIOS. Even though the BIOS sees my sandisk it doesn't want to boot from it. I just don't know if I am missing somthing in the BIOS Under USB Configuration I have an Option for Legacy USB Support with 3 options, Enabled, Disabled, UEFI Setup Only. Right now I have it set to Enabled. As far as I can tell those are my only options. Quote Link to comment
