JorgeB
Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, this usually points to a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one. RxLord
I have done this multiple times and the issue starts once I open docker and slowly start opening my applications. I have deleted my previous docker image and redownloaded the apps from the previous apps in community application store. Issue still persists. Quote Link to comment
RxLord
Another thing to point out is I have 2 identically build system and both systems are giving me the same issue. Same hardware throughout the machines. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Unlikely that it's an issue with docker in general, it may be a single container, or do you see the issue with just the docker service enabled? Quote Link to comment
RxLord
I don't think it's a docker in general issue. I think its related to a container like plex or emby. These are the usual suspects. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
So try starting one container at a time and leave running long enough, to confirm if that one is the problem, before starting the next one. Quote Link to comment
RxLord
How long is long enough? Fifteen, thirty minutes? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Typically how long does it take to crash? Quote Link to comment
RxLord
Varies based on what containers I open. I have autostart turn off on all containers. Going to mirror what containers I open on each system every 15 to 30 minutes. Quote Link to comment
RxLord
My first server froze after opening binhex-nzbhydra2 container. Secondary server has linuxserver version is still running. Going to remove the binhex-nzbhdra2 container and install the linuxserver version. syslog-previous Quote Link to comment
RxLord
System just shut down (powered down). Last container was Krusader that I opened. syslog-previous Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
I don't see any shutdown event in the log, if you mean the server just powered off that is usually hardware related, possibly overheating. Quote Link to comment
RxLord
Is there a log or app to monitor cpu/motherboard temp? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Dynamix System temp, though it's not compatible with all boards. Quote Link to comment
RxLord
Thanks. Will give it a try. Quote Link to comment
