[SOLVED] unRAID Server Lost its IP

Featured Replies

I have 2 unRAID boxes - one as a media server and the other as a backup server.

Both servers were gracefully shutdown by the UPS today. However, on powering back up, I was unable to reach box 2 on the network.

Once I hooked it up to a screen & keyboard, I ran ifconfig (the summit of my Linux OS knowkedge) and could not see an IP address for the NC (image below). On my other identical server, the IP address and subnet is listed on the line below the MAC address for eth0.

Can someone suggest what may have happened here, and what I can do to fix it?

I've tried re-booting a couple of times, but it's still not working.

The box can ping itself on 127.0.0.1 and the network light on the NC flashes as normal.

Many thanks in advance.

Re-booted the router and that seems to have fixed it. I suspect there was a problem with DHCP.

Try rebooting the modem, and router, that should fix it!

Sorry, guess I was too late!
