Nono196962
Hey ! For my future setup i would like to build a pc that is gonna be able to host 3 gaming Vm with a Gpu dedicated to each one. But i'm a bit lost on the cpu choice, how much core do i need for each vm, i've seen threadrippers, Xeon maybe ? And so for the motherboard too. Anyone got some recommendations ?? Veah
It depends on the games. Some need more power than others. AMD so Epyc or Threadripper is my preference. Intel Xeon should work too. Just be sure you have enough pcie lanes available for your need. 3 gpu is already 48. Nvme expansion cards, whatever else you may add will take up more. Nono196962
It's for normal gaming at 60 fps not hardcore in full quality. Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Highly recommend finding someone with a working setup that's doing what you want so you can copy both hardware and software. This is not a trivial setup, you may end up with a bunch of trial and error, mostly error and a lot of trial. 1 Quote Link to comment
